Specs:
This synthetic rope works like a metal shackle or D-ring used for off-road winch recoveries. It creates a safe and strong attachment point on your truck, Jeep, ATV, or UTV where there is no dedicated anchor point. It can also be used to connect your rope hook to a tree saver strap, tow strap, or other type of strap when rigging.
It's made from HMPE fiber that is lightweight yet stronger than steel - the same material used on Bulldog Winch synthetic rope winches. It's lighter, more flexible, and easier to use than a steel shackle with a threaded pin. It also includes a protective cover to help prevent abrasion due to repetitive contact with sharp edges.
To use the shackle simply wrap it around your roll bar, axle, or other point of attachment to create an anchor, put the loop end over the knot end, and pull it tight. The greater the load put on the shackle the tighter it will cinch around the base of the knot. Then insert your hook into the loop.
