Thanks for the review and for sharing your installation experience Christian. Your tip about leaving the bumper on during install is really helpful, especially since fitting the ends through the louvers can take a little extra maneuvering. Everything related to my Mini towing system is working great after a year of use.i do wish I had bought a cover for the tow bar though. Keeping it clean would be easier with the cover. Great products and service from etrailet

Back from our trip Towed the Vue 14,000 miles, Coast to coast, never had any problems with the base plate or hardware checked the torque on the bolts a couple of times, they were exactly as when I installed the unit. very little signs of wearing where the pins secured the tow bar to the base plate. good value!
