Will the Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar Work with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit for a 2008 Saturn Vue XE

You can use your Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar, # BX4330, with the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, # 3151-1A, on your 2008 Saturn Vue XE, but you will need the Roadmaster Base Plate to Blue Ox Tow Bar Adapter, # RM-033, and the Quick Disconnects, # RM-201.

A few other items that you may want to look at to complete your flat towing set up are a lighting kit, safety cables, or a supplemental braking system. I have attached a link to all of the lighting options for your vehicle as well as a help article to determine which light solution would work best for you. If you need safety cables, then I would recommend part # RM-643.

Most states now require the use of a supplemental braking system when flat towing. I recommend checking the laws of the states that you plan on traveling through to see if a supplemental braking system is required. If so, then one of the easiest braking system to use is the Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251. YOu just flip a switch to activate it when you're ready to tow.
