Question:
Will be purchasing roadmaster tow plate from e trailer for my 2014 Chevy Captiva. My question is about a tow bar I already use to tow my pick up. The tow bar I have is a falcon 5250 SER # 020611 which fits the roadmaster #260-1 installed on the aforementioned pick up. Will the tow bar I have fit the tow plate Ill be purchasing from e trailer? If not, is there a unit that will match up the tow plate and tow bar? Thanks

First, you'll want to positively confirm that the vehicle is capable of being flat towed. My research indicates the vehicle can be flat towed at speeds up to 65 mph, but you'll want to confirm this for yourself with your owner's manual or Chevy.
The correct Roadmaster base plate kit for your Captiva would be part # 3151-1A, which is compatible with your Falcon 5250 tow bar.
You'll need some other equipment to complete your towing system. If you don't already have safety cables, I'd recommend the Roadmaster # RM-643 set. You'll also need a wiring solution to provide functional taillights for the Captiva. An easy, reasonably priced and easy to install option would be a magnetic tow lamp kit like the # RM-2120 from Roadmaster. A quick battery disconnect like part # RM-766 and a fuse bypass, part # RM76511 are also recommended to prevent the vehicle battery from running down during transport. The vast majority of states and Canadian provinces require a supplemental braking system like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. The Patriot 3 is extremely easy to install and remove, and doesn't require a complicated and expensive permanent installation.
I've also linked you to some FAQ articles with more information about flat towing.
