When you need your cargo out of sight and safe from rain, dust, or theft, the RetraxONE XR delivers. Its high-quality polycarbonate (Lexan) cover won’t swell, crack, or fade, even when temperatures swing from -50° to 200°F. A built-in locking handle lets you secure the cover at any point along the rails—close it tight to lock up tools or latch it partway to protect smaller gear while leaving room for long items. With weather stripping and foam seals on every side, moisture stays out and your bed stays clean and dry.

Some covers make you choose between protection and access. This one gives you both. The sealed ball-bearing rollers glide the cover smoothly into a low-profile canister that sits just 13-1/2" deep by 12" tall, so you can open the entire bed in seconds without removing anything. The spiral track system keeps the slats from rubbing or binding as they retract, so operation stays smooth with no lubrication needed. The angled canister bottom also frees up extra cargo space underneath for smaller gear.

The RetraxONE XR is built for years of use in tough conditions. Its 5/8" thick aluminum I-beams are embedded every 4-3/4" inside the Lexan panels for extra strength, supporting up to 200 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The matte black finish resists scratches and UV damage while keeping a clean look that stays cool to the touch on hot days. The low-profile side rails sit only 1" above the bed for a streamlined fit that complements your truck’s lines.

If you run ladders, bikes, kayaks, or rooftop gear, the integrated T-slot rails make it easy to add crossbars or a rack system without interfering with the cover’s movement. The Trax Rail System works with most T-slot accessories from Yakima, Thule, Rhino-Rack, and others, so you can carry extra gear above while keeping the bed covered below. It’s the ideal setup for workdays that turn into weekends outdoors.

Getting this cover on your truck doesn’t require cutting or drilling. The rails clamp directly onto your bed rails and attach to the preassembled canister with included hardware. Two drain tubes route through existing holes in the bed floor to channel water out of the storage canister, keeping everything inside dry and ready for use. Once clamped down and tightened, you’re ready to haul with a secure, smooth-operating retractable cover built for everyday reliability.

One year in and I have no problems with this cover. Still opens and closes smoothly. It does take up more room than I was expecting but its not something that would keep me from buying it again. I have added the Yakima rack to it and it all works great.

Terrific product. Ive been very pleased. The only only improvement I can suggest, improve the drainage hose attachment fittings. They come loose too easily.

Glad to hear it looks great, Shelli! I have had a similar cover on my Silverado since 2018 and the retractable covers are the way to go, at least in my opinion. I haven't any issues with the canister making loading up the bed with stuff cause any problems and I don't think you will either. ^___^ What are you typically keeping in your bed? I always have a milk crate with survival type stuff in it, just in case!
