I need a 5th wheel hitch for at least 15k GVWR 5th wheel with pin weight of 2600 pounds. I want to put a retractable tonneau cover on as well. I have a 24 Siverado 2500 6 3/4 bed. I like the idea of the sliding hitches.

Hey Dale, for your 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed with the OEM pucks we have the B and W Companion Slider part # BWRVK3775 which would be an excellent option. It's a slider hitch like you are wanting to help with turning clearance, is one of the nicest hitches you can get, and also since it's handle doesn't point up it can fit underneath a tonneau cover as well like the RetraxONE XR part # RTX37YR.
I am assuming your truck has the OEM pucks in the bed but if you do not have them you'd need to go a different route with the B and W Companion Slider Hitch # BW45SR.
