Easy to install. Fits and works just like OEM.
Got it today in the mail fit my 2021 tacoma perfect. Good product and easy to install it take less then 30 min or so. The only thing was the the instruction for the wiring was wrong it red and green not red and white strip it an easy fix. Overall it good have to wait and see how it hold out overtime.

Instructions on t tap needs improvement but other than that very good
The issue i had was on my 2013 Tundra, once you tighten the 1 bolt the whole actuator tilts and misses the lock mechanism. I had to shim the other side to make it work.
Installed on my tundra in about 1.5hrs- instructions were very clear, no issues and a great addition to the truck.
Easy install and a year later still working perfectly. I would recommend this added option for security and convenience.
Nice product and easy to install with minimal tools and good instructions, You Tube is your friend.
Easy installation even for non-electrical guys like me. A year later and still working like a charm in my 2019 Tundra.
I gave it four stars because the product itself is outstanding. The instructions, however, are garbage. I considered making a video and sending for free, in order to help people who want to purchase this excellent product but won't be able to install it.
Specifically, the electrical instructions are the problem. The pictures aren't clear and don't describe how to splice the product into the mix. I recommend far better pictures and even a video that details the install procedure.
Bottom line: The product itself is excellent. The instructions are absolute garbage.
This was one of the easiest installs I have done. The directions and Video made it easy. Sure beats the stuffing out of pulling the key out of the fob every night to lock up the tailgate. Just don't understand why Toyota has not included the wiring in the harness.
Outstanding!!. 2 significant improvements: 1) improved actuator claw. Hard plastic instead of sheet metal makes is quieter. Larger Claw improves engaging with the locking mechanism. 2) improved grommets for the truck bed and tail gate insure constant unhindered connections. Well Done!
Old version at new price. New version includes plug and play t-harness, this version requires you to splice into the working harness of the truck. Had I known they were selling old stock at top dollar prices I would have purchased elsewhere. Buyer beware.

I did reach out to Pop N Lock and we did not have the tailgate lock that included the harness on our site. It has been added as part # PL34FR and would fit the 2016 to 2021 Toyota Tacoma.

Took about a hour for a 78 year old to install. Works great. Great way to get rid of keys.
