How to Connect Pop & Lock Wiring on 2021 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

how about something I can use I watched videos and they all show a t connection I have no T connection THe web site directions are horrible Installation in an hour Everything was easy until electrical I have no idea what to splice into I thought this was plug and play

It sounds like you're running into issues on step M of the instructions for the Pop& Lock # PL54FR on your 2021 Toyota Tacoma.

Some of the wiring is plug and play but definitely not all of it. In step M you will want to locate that MJ1 connector at the wiring under your scuff plate. If you look at the connector views on page 7 of the instructions it says that the blue quick-splices that come with the wiring kit will connect to the white w/ silver dash wire in pin 9 and the red wire in pin 18. You'll then connect the green/white stripe and blue wires from the small pigtail (see attached photo) directly to those quick splices.

After that you'll take the longer harness with those silver bullet connectors on the end and connect those to the white connector that fits to the pigtail in the picture. You'll connect the bullet ends so that they match with the same wires on the pigtail. Aside from that you shouldn't have any other wiring on your vehicle to splice into!
