Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at these Roadmaster tow bar adapters for your Demco baseplates. Now, this is going to let you use your Roadmaster Blackhawk all-terrain sterling or Nighthawk tow bar with your Demco baseplates. On your screen, I'm putting some helpful information there for you. If you have the Blackhawk all-terrain tow bar, it must have the serial number above 16,500, and then the sterling tow bar must have the serial number above 14,500, and then for sterling tow bars with serial numbers below 14,500, you would use the item number, the model number that I put there for you at the bottom of that graphic, RM-034, you would use that instead of these tow bar adapters. Now these adapters are from Roadmaster, so that'll give you the confidence that you need knowing that this is going to work with your Blackhawk all-terrain, sterling, or Nighthawk tow bars with your Demco baseplates.

These adapters make it possible for me to tow my Jeep behind my motorhome 3500 miles to Colorado and back with no issues.
They are strong, heavy duty, and do the job.
After chatting with one of the experts, they linked me to a set of adapters. I bought them and waited for them to arrive. Upon arrival, they didn't seem to fit correctly. So I took some pictures and got back they arrived a little bit beat up. I took some pics and emailed them to another expert. This guy noticed the issue and said I got the wrong ones, so he linked me to another set. I bought them and sent the first set back. I got the second set, and immediately knew they would not fit. Took pics, email pics. Was told those were also incorrect and linked me to a third set. I bought them, sent the second set back. This third set of adapters does in fact, fit, but they arrived pretty beat up. I'm not sure if I was sold used stuff or if they were just beat up. I took some pics. Hopefully the damage is visible.
Complete kit for my nighthawk towbar. Works well. Unfortunately I was given poor technical advise from etrailer.com when I asked if my 034 demco adapters would work with the nighthawk nut that they sell I was told no I had to buy the 034-5 set. Not so, my adapters are the same as what they sold me.
Although I haven't installed these yet, they appear to be of excellent quality and actually seem to be more robust then the original adapters I had on a Demco tow bar. Very happy with the product. I am extremely pleased with the speed in which these were delivered, 2 days!
