Base Plates For 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 With Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar

The RV we are purchasing has a Roadmaster Nighthawk towbar. What baseplate do I need for my 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2?

We can get your 2019 Chevy Colorado ZR2 set up with base plates that you can use with the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676, so long as your Colorado is not the ZR2 Bison model (the Bison model does not have a base plate fit). Roadmaster does not make base plates that fit the ZR2, so what you will need is a different brand as well as an adapter; what will work is the following:
- etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98966
- Roadmaster Blackhawk All-Terrain, Sterling, or Nighthawk Tow Bar to Demco Base Plate Adapter # RM-034-5
This combo will give your '19 Colorado ZR2 base plates that fit and allow you to use the Nighthawk tow bar. Along with this, you will also need wiring, a battery disconnect, and supplemental braking system if you don't have them. For that I recommend going with the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154, Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766, and Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494.
