Getting the right fit is easy with clear specs. This wheel uses a 5 on 5" bolt pattern, a 3.19" pilot diameter, and a zero offset for balanced mounting. Wheel bolt size is 1/2"-20, keeping your setup simple and reliable when matching hubs or replacing existing wheels.
Need space for higher tire pressure? The Dexstar AM20538DX easily handles up to 65 psi—well within the range of most heavy-duty trailer tires. With the correct valve stem such as part # AM20904, it can even support up to 80 psi, so you can dial in your setup without worrying about pushing limits.
The modular spoke pattern gives this wheel a classic, purposeful style that looks good while doing hard work. The symmetry of the round holes keeps the design strong but understated, adding a touch of polish without sacrificing any toughness. 1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by six inch silver modular steel trailer wheel, with the five on five inch bolt pattern. Now this wheel's a sturdy steel construction. We mentioned it's a modular design, and the modular design is the one that has the round holes that go all the way around the wheel. This wheel offers excellent corrosion resistance. It uses a two step finishing process, which first includes an e-coat primer on the wheel, and then a silver powder coat finish over it.
It is a high quality wheel. It does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. Now, if you notice the center cap is not included. If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separate on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter as your pilot hole right here.
The diameter on this hole is 3.19 inches. This wheel is made by Dexstar, which means it's made in USA. A few dimensions we're gonna measure is the diameter and the width of the wheel. And when you measure the diameter, what you're gonna measure is basically inside the inside. And the reason is 'cause when the tires not on here, the tire beads, you're gonna seat right here.
So that's basically what you're gonna measure. Bead seat to bead seat. So you can see if we go straight across, there's your 15 inch diameter, and if we do the width, it'll be the same way, bead seat to bead seat. Six inches wide. Now the bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on five inch bolt pattern.
And if you wanted to measure that on a wheel, it's an odd number of lugs, like in this case, five. What you'll need to do is just pick one of the holes, let's say this one, and then measure across to either one of these holes. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this one, if we measure, it'd be five inches. So it's a five on five inch bolt pattern. Wheel lug size is a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on this is 2,200 pounds. But that should do it for a look at the Dexstar 15 inch by six inch silver modular steel trailer wheel with the five on five inch bolt pattern.

These wheels were exactly what I was looking for the packaging was great and delivery was awesome. Ordered rim for my trailer - good price and really fast delivery. High quality wheel unfortunately they sent wrong size. Called and talked to Lazer who was very helpful and sent out the correct wheel right away without me having to send back the wrong one first. he even sent me prepaid shipping label for return. The wheels are well made. I buy spare wheels for my trailers so that I can take just the wheels to the tire shop when I need new tires. Then, I can change the wheels/tires at my convenience at home. Also, with my dual acle trailers, I like to have teo spares with me. It seems if I pose one tire, the other is compromised. Having two spares leeps me going. etrailer.com has lots of good choices for extra wheels.

I needed some new trailer rims that were capable of handling 80psi for the new load range E tires i had purchased. Etrailer came through with flying colors and shipped me the Dexstar (made in USA)?? mini mods in the more difficult to find 15x6 with the 5 on 5 bolt pattern. Etrailer kept me up to date on shipping/tracking info and did a all around fantastic job. I will be a repeat customer. Thanks again....
Great wheel
Ordered 5 trailer wheels. Took them to have new tires mounted. Found one to have a bad weld causing a major leak. Called etrailer from tire shop. Was told to send photo of the bad weld and text it to etrailer. They received the photo last Friday and I received the replacement wheel the next Tuesday. Put the bad wheel in the box and UPS picked it up at etrailer's cost. No argument or hassle. Anyone can get a bad part. Etrailer took care of my problem fast and efficiently. Will still buy from them.
I needed two new rims for a utility trailer. I have been looking to order the rims for some time but had trouble finding what I needed. Thanks for checking. I live in Baton Rouge LA and one week after my review we experience record flooding. I actually used my new rims on my trailer to help transport Fire Dept rescue boats for flood victims. The rims spent their first week almost entirely submerged in water but have held up great. Timing on delivery could not have been better. I have recommended etrailer several times since.

After using these tires for over a year now, I can honestly say they are the best trailer tires I have owned. My trailer handles better and tires wear better than any I have used before.
Overall good quality. Only short coming was they failed to dress the hole for the valve stem after it was punched during fabrication. This left a razor edge that needed cleaned up before mounting the tire. Thinking breaks the seal of the powder coating.
I needed new rim's for a used trailer that I bought, It had car rim's on the trailer . and I did not know what rim's go with the trailer. I went on you web site and it was very informative, it should me how to for check bolt pattern,[ with a video very helpful] VERY SATISFIED and the RIM'S LOOK'S GREAT ON MY TRAILER
Great product for a great price . I bought 4 for my old bent rims and with some new tires as well that look great . but overall I’m satisfied shopping from etrailer for my trailers needs. And extremely fast shipping usually arrives to me the next day if ordered in time
The wheels are great. Just regular trailer wheels. I guess nothing outstanding to say other than im in the same state and they arrived the following day. I advise against buying the 3.19 pilot center caps as they are junk and not worth 20 each. They are just plastic and one broke on trip number 1.

Got my tires mounted and balanced on these new wheels, and then drove from TX to MN and back. No problems so far; wheels seem to be working great.
