Features to know about

Made for Long Hauls at Real Highway Speeds: Load Range D with 81-mph Speed Rating

This tire-and-wheel combo is built for serious mileage. The ST225/75R15 radial tire is Load Range D with an 8-ply rating and a 2,540-lb max load at 65 psi. It’s speed rated M for 81 mph, giving you highway confidence on long trips. The wheel itself is rated for 2,830 lbs, meeting DOT specs and exceeding FMVSS standards so you can count on dependable performance mile after mile.

Built to Fight Corrosion: Silver Acrylic Enamel Steel Wheel

Salt spray and road grime don’t stand a chance. The modular steel wheel goes through a zinc phosphate pre-treatment, an e-coat primer, and a baked-on silver acrylic enamel finish that resists chipping and damage better than powder coat. With a corrosion resistance rating of more than 1,000 hours, it’s made to hold up in wet or humid environments season after season.

Smooth Ride from the Start: Match Mounted and Balanced Assembly

No need to haul these to a shop before hitting the road. Taskmaster uses laser-guided match mounting and balancing so the assembly arrives ready to roll. The lightest part of the tire is aligned with the heaviest part of the wheel, weights are precisely applied, and vibration is minimized. The result is a smooth, even ride that reduces wear on your running gear and keeps everything tracking straight.

Strong Grip in Wet or Icy Conditions: Automotive-Grade Radial Tread

This radial tire uses double steel belts, double polyester cords, and a protective nylon overlay for endurance under load. Its automotive-grade tread features sipes and broken ribs that channel water away from the footprint to maintain traction on wet, snowy, or icy roads. That design also helps prevent tread separation and keeps the rubber lasting longer thanks to bake testing that ensures durability over time.

Reliable Hold Under Torque: Beveled Stud Holes and Zero Offset

The raised center disc with uncoated beveled stud holes improves clamp force retention so lug nuts stay tight without constant retorquing. With a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, 15" x 6" wheel dimensions, zero offset, and 3.19" pilot diameter, this assembly bolts up solidly for dependable performance every trip.

Determining Bolt Pattern

1. Count the lug holes

Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).

Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug

2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.

Center to Center
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).

Center to Outside Edge
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Exactly what I needed at a fair price and on time. They had the same wheel tire combo that I'd ordered a couple years ago which is great.

by:

The tires were shipped faster than I thought. I just got here and are about to go on my trailer

by:

Good quality, fast free shipping, prompt delivery. Very happy

by:

Nice Wheel and tire combo. They look really nice on my utility trailer. Shipping was quick.

by:

Etrailer.com delivered radial trailer tires FAST.
Delivered to my door, accurate description, fully inflated, ready to put on trailer.
Great shopping experience. Thanks etrailer, and thanks Joshua B for the follow-up.

by:

Bought it for a Spare tire. Tire was made Oct.2024 and I got the wheel/tire May 2026. No worries….. it’s a spare tire.

by:

Tires came as promised. I have not installed them as of yet, but i really like the look. They should look great on my restored 1994 Starcraft popup. Can't wait to get it on the road again. Hopefully the end of July.

by:

Great product selection and wonderful customer service. I especially liked the frequent updates on my order status.

by:

Fast shipping, good quality, great fit!

by:

Light, sturdy feeling, perfect pressure straight out of the box. Honestly this was my first time ordering any kind of tire online so i was a bit paranoid. But the vehicle selector narrowed down the search to this beauty. Fits like a glove on my old 2005 jayco jay series. while its too early for me to rate its longevity, i find the product feel reassuring.

by:

On the first trip with these tires and wheels, All wheel weights broke off. Will have to have these balanced again. Tires and wheels are as expected

by:

When the tires arrived, the hubs had a few stretches on them which I assume it from mounting the tires. I installed them and drove around the block. Even though it was a short drive, they seemed to be a much better upgrade than the bias ply tires I had on the trailer.

I also should add that I bought these because of the highway rating as I will be hauling my motorcycle to NY this summer.

by:

UPS driver put the tire box at my back gate and was very kind to do so. I’ve ordered 5 new tire/rims for an Alaska trip and and a spare for my cargo trailer in the past. This tire will be a spare on my new trailer.

by:

Excellent looking wheels and tires! The wheels are flawless - no scratches or chips.

I put these on a small utility trailer that I expanded for hauling my kayak and jon boat. The gross weight is very light so I reduced my tire pressure to about 75psi and took the trailer for its maiden test drive this past weekend. Handles great in town. It did 75-80mph on the highway no problem.

Many thanks to Sarah S for her assistance with my order. I could not be happier right now.
Side note, I also installed the Counteract Balancing beads (CA68VR).

I ordered five of these Provider ST225/75R15s for my horse trailer. The premounted providers arrived fast, individually boxed, balanced, and in very excellent appearance.

I will update my review if they dont wear or ride well. If there is.no update assume all is well.

by:

The 2 Provider Tires on Vespar rims are in excellent condition, mounted good and look in excellent condition.
They both arrived on time without damage, and customer service people were taking care of me by being upfront honest and respectfull.
Good job everyone at etrailer!

  • How To Know If The 15" Aluminum Sendel Mod Trailer Wheel AM22627 Will Fit My Diamond Cargo Trailer
Hi Jeff! What you will need to check to make sure the Sendel Aluminum Sendel Mod Trailer Wheel - 15" x 6" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM22627 will fit your Diamond cargo trailer is measure the side clearance of your current tire/wheel. You want to have roughly 1-1/2" between the sidewall of the tire and the fender/frame. This wheel will add 1/2" to your measurement, so as long as you are still somewhere close to the 1-1/2" of clearance, you are good to go. Odds are you will be perfectly fine,...

  • Will a 225/75-15 Trailer Tire Fit in Place of a 205/75-15 Trailer Tire
In order to determine if you can go to a larger tire size you have to look at the available space all around the existing tires. The tire size you have now, 205/75-15, has a diameter of 27.1 inches and a width of 8 inches. The 225/75-15 trailer tire has a diameter of 28.31 inches and a width of 8.78 inches. This means above the tires you would measure up approximately 0.65 inches (a little over 5/8). If there is still space to allow for the travel of the suspension, then the height will...

  • Can ST205/75R15 Tires and Wheels be Replaced with ST225/75R15 Tires and Wheels on Trailer
You can absolutely replace the existing ST205/75R15 tires and wheels on your trailer with the slightly larger Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LRD # TA86MR. They will fit your current hubs without a problem. As you mentioned in your question the only potential concern would be with wheel well clearance but this isn't too big of a change. Hi Nicolas, There aren't hubcaps, but but there is a center cap you can use with the Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel # TA86MR. For that you can use the Americana Trailer Wheel Center Cap # AM90175. I know it's not exactly what you were asking for, but I thought I'd throw it out there in case as an option for you.

  • Do Trailer Tire/Wheels Come Balanced
The trailer tire and wheel combination is received from the supplier already with the tire mounted on the wheel. The supplier does not balance the combination, but when the tire is installed to the wheel they will line the high (heavy) spot on the tire with the low (light) spot on the wheel. This does not completely balance the tire and wheel combination but it does eliminate any excessive out of balance condition. I would recommend to balance the tire and wheel combination at a local...

  • Tire and Wheel Recommendation for 2002 Coleman Utah Trailer
I really like the 15 inch trailer rim size 225/75-15 as it has a lot of great options in terms of tires that are high quality. The only piece of information needed from you is the bolt pattern of the hubs on your trailer. The most common bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2 inch like the # TA86MR which has a great tire with a speed rating at 81 mph on a Vesper Silver Mod Wheel. This is a Load Range D and it also has a 2-year warranty with Roadside Assistance. The other most popular bolt pattern...

  • Fit Considerations for Increasing Trailer Tire Size
Changing trailer tire sizes is fine so long as you first make sure you have enough clearance in the wheel wells to allow for the larger tire. A 205/75R14 tire has an overall diameter of about 26-1/4-inches while the 3/4-inch-wider 225/75R14 tire will have an overall diameter of 28.31-inches. You need to maintain at least 3-inches of clearance above the tread to allow for normal suspension travel and also have enough clearance for the increased tire width.

  • What Exactly is a Tires Section Width
The section width refers to the distance from the widest point of a tire's outer sidewall to the widest point of its inner sidewall; this distance is measured once the tire is mounted on the wheel it is going to be used with, as you can see in the provided photo. I've linked you to some Trailer Tire FAQ articles that'll teach you everything you need to know about trailer tires, but weren't bored enough to ask!

  • Does Taskmaster Trailer Wheel and Tire Combos Come Balanced
Our trailer wheel and tire combos do not come pre-balanced as typically there isn't enough benefit to balancing trailer whee/tires to justify the cost. Also, the weights have a tendency to bounce off of trailer wheels. You can have them balances locally but most people don't find it's worth it.

The Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LRD # TA86MR referenced in your question actually features different load ratings for the tire and wheel. The Kenda Loadstar tire has a maximum load of 2,540 pounds at 65 psi, while the 15 inch aluminum wheel has a weight capacity of 2,830 pounds.
