Question:
I'm interested in purchasing two of Item # TA86MR trailer tires/rims. The specs show it has a load rating of 2540 lbs but the associated video says it has a 2830lb load rating. Could clarify which one is correct.

The Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LRD # TA86MR referenced in your question actually features different load ratings for the tire and wheel. The Kenda Loadstar tire has a maximum load of 2,540 pounds at 65 psi, while the 15 inch aluminum wheel has a weight capacity of 2,830 pounds. Since you are always limited by a system's weakest component, you will need to go by the tire's lower 2,540 pound limit when determining the combo's overall capacity.
As long as the combined capacity of all the wheels on your trailer meet or exceed the trailer's loaded weight, this tire and wheel combo will work great.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also check out.
