This tire-and-wheel combo is made for those long drives where reliability matters. The Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 radial tire carries up to 1,925 lbs at 60 psi, with a Load Range C and an 81-mph (M) speed rating. The radial construction keeps heat buildup low and rolling resistance minimal, delivering solid stability and tread life on extended highway trips.
Corrosion doesn’t stand a chance here. The 14" x 5-1/2" aluminum wheel is lightweight, rustproof, and finished in a matte-black clear coat that guards against scuffs, scratches, and oxidation. It’s built to handle moisture and road grime while keeping its sharp look season after season.
The Kenda Karrier design combines double steel belts with full nylon plies for long life and dependable function. This setup adds flexibility without sacrificing strength, giving the tire even pressure distribution for quiet, stable performance in wet or dry conditions. It’s the kind of steady ride that makes towing feel more predictable mile after mile.
Both tire and wheel meet Department of Transportation specifications, so you can mount up knowing the assembly is road-ready from day one. With a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, 0 offset, and 2,200-lb wheel capacity, the fitment is straightforward and precise for confident installation.
This setup is backed by a 1-year worry-free guarantee—if the tire is damaged in any way within the first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge. It’s an added layer of assurance that matches the durable build of this trailer tire and wheel combo.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 radial trailer tire in a Load Range C mounted on this 14-inch black mesh aluminum wheel with the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this tire-and-wheel assembly's ideal for stock trailers, utility trailers, and even campers. The wheel is a Sendel Series T17 aluminum wheel and it's a mesh style design wheel with a nice matte black finish on it. And if you notice, the front and even the back of the wheel has a clear coating for protection. Now this wheel does not include a center cap.
If you do want a center cap, we do sell those separately on our website. You do wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll match this diameter of the pilot hole on the wheel. 'cause when you install it, your cap will go through this hole. So the diameter on this hole, pilot hole, is 3.19 inches. Now the wheel itself, the diameter is 14 inches.
The width on just the wheel is 5-1/2 inches. And this wheel does have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. If you wanna measure the bolt pattern on a wheel like this that's an odd number of lugs, in this case, five, all you have to do is pick any one of the holes, let's say this one, and then you'll measure across to either this hole or to this hole. But when you measure, it's from the center of the starting hole to the edge of the hole that you measure to. So on this wheel, it'll measure 4-1/2 inches, so this will tell you this is a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.
The wheel lug size this uses is 1/2 inch by 20. Weight capacity on just the wheel is 2,200 pounds. Now the tire that's mounted on this is the Kenda Karrier. It's a special trailer radial tire, and it is a special trailer design, which will couple the strength of a bias tire with the durability and stability of a radial tire. Now this tire is created specifically for trailers.
It's not intended for use on other vehicles. Does use double steel belts, full nylon plies, combined for superior function and long life. The tread on it is a computer-generated tread design and they offer premium rubber-compound materials to give you superior traction in wet or dry conditions. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, and it's usually right down around the rim. Right here, it'll say ST, for Special Trailer, 205/75R14. The R means it's a radial tire. Section width on this is 8 inches. Overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated, it's 26 inches. And this tire is a Load Range C, which means it's a 6-ply rated tire. Has a maximum load capacity of 1,925 pounds at 60 psi. Last thing I do wanna mention, almost all the new trailer tires do come with a speed rating stamped on them and it's stamped on the sidewall by a letter designation. And where that's located is right after the tire size we just went over. You'll see two numbers for the load index, and then there's the letter M. Speed rating M will mean this has a speed rating of 81 miles per hour. And this assembly does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. But that should do it for the review on this Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 radial trailer tire in a Load Range C mounted on this 14-inch black mesh aluminum wheel.

The process was not pleasant. Shipping took much longer than originally quoted. Don’t believe the shipping dates that are provided. They are not accurate and customer service doesn’t care about you once you have placed your order.
I bought a smoker trailer and after looking at the tires I found that they were rated for 500 lbs each without a spare. Etrailer had the resources to determine what I needed and then gave me options for what I wanted. Fresh wheels and tires provided the safety I needed. Thank you.
