Hey Bill,

The Kenda Karrier KR53 ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Black Mod Wheel # KE26JV has a 3.31" diameter center bore, also called the pilot hole.

It also has a 5 on 5" bolt pattern, so you’ll just want to make sure that matches your existing hub.

Are you checking the center bore for hub clearance or trying to find a center cap?

I've double checked, and turns out I need 5on4-1/2" bolt pattern wheels. But the hubs I have are very old with a 4" hub flange, and also have an alignment/guide pin. I'm thinking I can cut the alignment pit off if I can find wheels with a 4"+ center bore. Do you offer anything that might work? Thanks.

@BillM Hey Bill, Before we rule out the standard 5 on 4-1/2" wheels, I want to make sure I’m understanding the 4" flange you mentioned. Are you referring to the 4-bolt brake mounting flange behind the hub, or is the actual raised center section of the hub about 4" in diameter? If you can send me a picture of the hub with the wheel removed, especially showing the alignment/guide pin, I can get a much better idea of what you have. I would hold off on cutting that pin off until we verify its purpose. Feel free to send image to [email protected]

It's the raised center section of the hub that would go through the center bore of the wheel. I'll send you a picture later this afternoon. The pin I referencing is used to help align the 9/16" lug BOLTS when installing the wheel. One of the hubs already has 9/16x1/2" adapter studs to allow mounting wheels using conventional 1/2" lug nuts, and I'm planning to use those same adapters on the other three studs.

@BillM Hey Bill, Thanks for the pictures - that helps a lot. The main issue is that your hub has roughly a 4" raised center pilot, which is too large for the center bore on the standard 5 on 4-1/2" wheels we carry. Your best option may be replacing the hubs with a newer 5 on 4-1/2" setup, but we’d need to verify fit first. If you can pull one hub and send me the inner and outer bearing numbers, along with the axle capacity if known, I can see what replacement hubs may work. If you can't make out the numbers, you'd need to measure with a digital caliper. Sorry to cause more work for you. You could also try finding some tires to put on those existing wheels if you don't want the trouble of replacing them now that you know how rare they are.
