When you’re rolling loaded for long hauls, this tire-and-wheel assembly is built to stay steady at speed. The Karrier ST225/75R15 radial tire carries a maximum load of 2,540 lbs at 65 psi and is rated M for 81 mph. Its radial construction combines double steel belts with full nylon plies to cut down heat buildup and rolling resistance, so tread life stays long and performance stays smooth mile after mile.
This combo brings together a stout 15" x 6" black steel wheel rated for 2,600 lbs and an 8-ply tire that’s ready for heavy-duty towing. The steel rim has a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, 1/2"-20 bolt size, and 0 offset for solid balance under load. Every piece meets Department of Transportation specs, giving you confidence when the trailer’s full and the road stretches far ahead.
Salt, moisture, and road grime don’t stand a chance. The conventional black steel wheel uses a tough powder coat finish that keeps rust at bay while adding a clean look that fits right in on modern or older setups. It’s the kind of finish that handles both freshwater ramps and long highway runs without showing its age.
Skip the extra steps—this Karrier tire comes already mounted on the wheel, inflated, and balanced for straightforward installation. With the correct 3.65" pilot diameter and no offset to worry about, it’s ready to bolt up and roll right out of the box.
Kenda covers this tire for a full year under their worry-free guarantee—if it’s damaged in the first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge. Combined with a 5-year tire warranty and limited 1-year wheel warranty, it’s reassurance that this setup is made to hold up for the long run.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Ratings & Reviews
Been a Kenda fan since I put the first pair on my bicycle, over 10 years ago. Very well made and robust. After a year of service, these trailer tires are still like new. We take our 5th Wheel camper out every 4 weeks, and other than checking the air pressure, and keeping the tires covered during down time, these tires are a non issue, something I don't have to worry about. While I expected good service from Kenda, I'm still impressed with the tread wear, or lack thereof. Trailer tires are notoriously short lived, but so far, these tires and killing it.
good good

Fast delivery and the same as I have on my rv
EASY AND BEST SERVICE
Arrived early and in great condition
Arrived I. Good condition
Great selection of wheels, with or without tires, even for hard to find older models! Replaced old split rims with properly matched new equipment.
We ordered this tire/ wheel combo and it showed up next day! Great customer service.
It will work as a spare, but not in regular use. It has three nubs for hubcap mounting whereas my stock wheels have 4, and the diameter is slightly different so the hubcaps won't fit. 1983 Wrangler 2 horse trailer
The order arrived sooner than expected
I purchased four (4) Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tires with 15" Black Steel Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range D. I wanted to replace the (split rim) wheels and tires on my vintage (1964) Airstream Overlander. I wanted something that could appear like it was "period appropriate" for the model and year, and yet provide all the safety and reliability of modern wheels/tires. I did a lot of research. Lucky for me, etrailer.com had what appeared to be the right product at the right price.
My wheels and tires arrived at my door, quickly. I was able to manually remove the old wheels/tires and install the new ones in a couple hours. I did it without help and using available tools. I'm not a mechanic, but it didn't take me long. If you can change a tire, you likely can do this! I'd have to say the whole purchase and DIY installation went extremely well. I could not be happier with the service and products etrailer.com provided. I'll attach a pic, showing the old and new wheels; and, I'll include a picture of the final product.
I've had great experiences with etrailer.com and I'm happy to pass the word. Now, all I need is the right wheel covers, maybe baby moons? Thanks George!
