Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

Parts arrived on time in great shape everything went together like dream no problems my trailer looks great and I know it will be easer to maintain, the info on the web site was great with having the bearings in hand picking the correct hubs was easy with them listed with the hubs.

Still very happy with these tires and rims. I cleaned the rims last weekend and they still look great.
I bought this as a spare tire for my trailer and it is an exact match both tire and rim of whats on the there now. It showed up sooner than expected and even the packaging was in good condition. I have been dealing with Etrailer for about ten years and have no plans on changing!
Tires came on time as sales said. So far a good looking tire and rim. Tires have a deep thread.
This product looks great! Very well made. I am using it as a spare tire for my trailer because it did not come with one when I bought it. Delivery was on time and fast.
I asked if the tires were balanced when I ordered them,and I was told they were, but they may need to be balanced again due to handling. There were no balance weights on any of the wheels. You draw your own conclusion whether (true or false statements) were made.

The wheel and tire combos we have are not balanced from the manufacturer. What they do when the tire is mounted to the wheel is match the high [heavy] spot on the wheel to thw low [light] spot on the tire. This does leave the wheel and tire somewhat balanced. You can have the tire professionally balanced if you want once you receive them, but having perfectly balanced tires is not as important with trailer tires as it is with a passenger vehicles.
Arrived on time with no damage from carrier one year later being out in the elements the whole time, no rust or paint chipping off of cheaper 4 white wheels been on very rough terrain no flats. Took on about 18 trips so far this year about 4,000 miles. Very pleased.
Purchased four Kenda Karrier Steel Tires and Wheels for our horse trailer. They are great! And etrailer provided excellent customer service! My mechanic had me order one set of four, only to find out that our trailer has mobile home axles, so we had to return the first set of four and order a different set. Their customer service made that super easy, and they refunded for the first set promptly. On both orders their shipping was quick too. Service doesn't get much better than this!

I bought these tires and wheels for my abused, manure trailer. The old ones were rusty and had uneven wear on the tires. Plus, they are pretty old and dry rotten. I needed these wheels before our trip but they weren't going to make it in time.
I reached out to customer service and they were more than happy to change the ship to address to accommodate my needs. Wheels came in and I changed them on site and we were able to bring the trailer back from Texas to Indiana with no issues.

I ordered these wheels and tires for a 31 foot bumper-pull camper and they were delivered on time. I checked the dates on the tires and all 4 had very recent manufacture dates. Tires were mounted and inflated, but were not up to the recommended pressure for the load. It's not a big deal to air them up a little more and you should check your tire pressures before every trip anyway. I just added this info to let people know that you can't just throw them on and go.

I found it extreemely easy to order the correct tire and rim. The system narrowed down the choices by asking the correct questions in order to determine the applicable product. This is at least the third item I have ordered via etrailer and I have been happy every time.
The order response time is very quick. Etrailer has a very effecient order filling/packaging/shipping system. All orders were received quickly, packaged well and undamaged.
A small thing (small because this is a spare tire for my trailer) I wish I could have ordered a metal valve stem as I use a TPMS that attaches to the stem. However this is a spare tire/rim and I can live with the standard rubber valve stem for the short time/miles it will actually be driven on. Note: I carry two spares so I am not forced to purchase on the road.

Great set of tires and wheels looks good but most of all matched set for my trailer and feels safer than different tire on each hub that came off cars that were used tires and already worn out before they were put on the trailer. 2 blow outs on this trip. That did it. I bought 4 new tires and rims and now no worry about safety. What a good feeling!
Shopped all around for this Loadstar Karrier ST225/75R15, D Load, and many places were out of stock, but not etrailer. I also wanted a rim to match my CarMate trailer, and this was an exact match. As always with etrailer, shipping was lightning quick and it arrived less than 48 hours after ordering.
Wheel arrived on schedule and in goos solid wheel box for shipping damage protection.

Excellent product, but follow torque & safety recommendations for trouble free experience. Even though I bent a rim, they perform flawlessly. Etrailer is awesome!
