Will Timbren RV Trailer SES for Underslung Axles Fit 4,400 lb Axle With 5-1/4" Clearance

Question:

I own a small travel trailer. 16 single 4400 axle on top of spring. Weight on axle is between 3500 and 4000 pound. Distance between spring and frame is 5.25 inches. With the 3 axle, only about 2 inches clearance between axle and frame. Is Timbren TR7DP appropriate? Thanks.

Hey William! Yes, the Timbren RV Trailer Suspension Enhancement System for Underslung Axles # T34KV (TR7DP) is appropriate for your setup. You meet the clearance requirement, which is 5" - 7" from the leaf spring to the frame, and the axle diameter requirement.

I would go ahead and double check the distance between your U-bolts to make sure it is less than 3-1/4" outside to outside just to be sure. If that checks out you're all set and this system will fit.
