You're rebuilding a single-axle suspension and need the hangers back in place. Fits 1-3/4" double-eye springs on 2,000-7,000 lb axles and includes hangers, shackles, and hardware to get everything lined up and tracking straight.
This setup uses equalizers between the axles to transfer load as the trailer moves. When one axle hits a bump, the equalizer pivots to help keep weight distributed across both axles, improving stability and reducing harsh movement.
All hangers in this kit are 3-1/4" tall, measured from the center of the bolt hole to the top of the hanger. Using the same height at each position keeps the suspension level and simplifies layout during installation.
Hanger spacing is based on your spring length and equalizer size. Setting the correct distance between hangers allows the equalizer to move freely and helps prevent the suspension from binding as the trailer travels.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Terran Axle Single-Axle Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs. And these are gonna be 1-1/2-inch tall on the front hangers. So folks, again, these are for double-eye springs. They mount to one to 3/4-inch wide springs, so the springs must be one to 3/4 inches wide, rather, on a single axle trailer frame.
Now, these can support multiple weights between 2,000 to 7,000-pound trailer axles, and this full kit's gonna come with two front and two rear hangers. The shackle bolts, the nuts, and the shackle straps themselves. This is a weld-on installation, so you would weld these on, so you're gonna weld 'em on. And then your shackle straps center to center here on the holes are gonna be two and three, are 2 and 5/8 inches on center. Now, these are considered a low profile hanger set.
They're 1-1/2 inches tall for standard leaf spring setups. And the way that you measure the height of these is you're gonna go from the center of this hole to the top flat plane here. So the best I can show you here. So right here on center of this hole to the flat plane, that's 1-1/4 inches. And then on the other ones to the top, to the center, 1-1/2 inches.
So that's how they're measuring that. And then, again, the shackle straps center eye to center eye, 2-5/8 on center. Your typical 3-inch long by 9/16-inch diameter shackle bolts. Everything here has been dipped with a coating, so you don't have to worry about rust and corrosion anytime soon. And now, we'll wrap it up for our quick look together.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

It sounds like a frustrating install Stanislaw, but the holes are actually made that way on purpose. The bolts have splines under the head that are slightly larger than the hole, so when they’re pressed or tapped in, they bite into the hanger and keep the bolt from spinning later on. Because of that, they will feel tight and won’t slide in by hand. These bolts are meant to be installed by tapping or pressing them in with the hanger properly supported, not by pulling them through with the nut. If everything is lined up straight, they should seat with a few solid hits. Trying to draw them in with a wrench will usually just strip the threads before the splines can seat.
