Will The 5.2K Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit RM-2460-2560 Fit My 5th Wheel?
Updated 10/28/2026 | Published 10/21/2026 >
Question:
Hello, I have a 2026 Alliance Avenue 32RLS. The factory axles are 6K Dexter with 7K springs. The GVWR is 13,995. However we are weekenders and dont pack that heavy and do not travel with water. My most recent CAT Scale weight showed my rear axle at 4400lbs and the front at 4640lbs fully loaded. This tells me that the Roadmaster Comfort Ride system I need is the 2500-60. I tried to look up that RV but I dont think Alliance is in your database yet. Thanks for the help

Hi Ryan!
If you are only ever loading your 2026 Alliance Avenue 32RLS to 9,040 pounds, I would agree that the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks - Tandem 5.2K Axles # RM-2460-2560 will work nicely for you. All 5.2K and 6K axles are also the same size, so the install won't pose any issues.
However, you will always be limited to loading to 10,400 pounds at the absolute maximum. You would never be able to get to the full 13,995 GVWR your camper is rated to. It doesn't sound like this will ever be an issue, but it is definitely something to be aware of.
What are you towing your Alliance with?

I am aware that I am now limited to 10,400 but I cannot imagine ever loading another 1,300 pounds in it. I would have to build the suspension to max and ruin my ride/tow quality.

I think I understand your question. Me. I would cover the factory max load scenario for the camper. But you could converse with Roadmaster direct as I did. I installed this product on a Alliance Delta with the shocks and two X Factor cross beams. I think the slipper spring system is great, but I think the addition of the shocks was a major help. I think I will always want a shock package.
