Rough pavement, potholes, or gravel roads can make a trailer bounce and sway. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride system fixes that by isolating each axle with center hanger boxes that prevent shock transfer between them. That means each wheel moves on its own, cutting the “wave” of motion that normally travels through the suspension. The result is traction that increases by as much as 70 percent during braking and up to 50 percent less bounce and chucking while you tow.
The included nitrogen-charged shocks smooth out jolts before they reach the trailer frame. They compress and extend to match suspension movement, slashing vibration levels by up to 76 percent on cobblestones and as much as 94 percent on gravel. They’re mounted between 20 and 40 degrees for the best leverage and control on both compression and rebound, keeping your trailer stable and the ride comfortable mile after mile.

Each spring eye comes pre-pressed with Never Fail bushings made from a molybdenum- and graphite-filled material. They don’t need grease, won’t wear out like brass or nylon, and stay quiet with no squeaks or clunks. That means less time under the trailer and more time on the road.
This triple-axle setup uses six 27" long by 1-3/4" wide slipper springs rated at 2,500 lbs each for dependable support. The center hanger boxes replace standard equalizers, holding the flat spring ends between a roller and safety bolt that guide movement smoothly instead of binding or hopping. The whole system fits 3" round axles (typical 5,000-lb axles) and is built to handle serious hauling.

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride kit bolts to existing hangers with your current hardware and includes all the components you need—six slipper springs, three center hanger boxes, and six shocks. The design keeps drilling to a minimum, and once installed, it delivers the smooth, stable feel of a properly tuned suspension without the need for ongoing maintenance.

After a complete frame rebuild and reinforcement caused by weak factory suspension. There is no question the Roadmaster suspension is still the best upgrade we have done on our 5th wheel RV.

Really like the Roadmaster comfort ride suspension. It greatly reduces movement of products inside the 5th wheel while towing compared to the original CRE 3000, often on decent roads nothing moves at all, on rough roads still some movement but nothing like before. Strongly recommend

This was the best thing I could have done to make the 5th wheel experience a good one. Prior to installing failing to properly secure things in the trailer would not end well. After the install, items remained where they were last placed.

That sounds like it was an awesome trip you went on, Terry! I'm happy that the handling is better so that longer trips are in a way, smooth sailing. Do you have an fun trips planned for this summer?

That is awesome, Joe! Really glad to hear you were comfortable enough to go for it yourself and tackle install. Probably saved a lot of money that way too :) Have you done a lot of traveling in the last year?

Glad they are working well for you, Dillon! I don't think I have ever heard a bad review of this system as it just gets the job done! ^___^ What did you install it on?
