Question:
Plan on installing on a 2024 Riverstone Legacy 421FK triple axle After we install the comfort ride leaf spring w/shocks does the rig need to be aligned? What other parts need to be purchased and does trailer carry those parts? Does the guy that does your install video make house calls?

Hey Jeff,
To find the correct Roadmaster Comfort Ride kit for your 2024 Riverstone Legacy 421FK you'll need to check the axles for their weight capacity. Once we know the axle capacity we can pick the corresponding kit:
5k # RM-2460-2560-3
7k # RM-2460-2570-3
8k # RM-2470-2580-3
The slipper spring box would need to be aligned to the spring centers on the axle and center of the trailer frame when being installed so there isn't a separate alignment job that you'll need to complete afterwards. The only thing I've had to purchase parts-wise when installing a Comfort Ride system has been longer U-Bolts to have enough threads for the mounting brackets for the shocks to fit. For 3" diameter axles you can use # CE23003 and for 3-1/2" diameter axles you can use # APUBR-35. You'll need three kits as these are 1 per axle.
When I was installing the slipper spring boxes I picked up a 12" long 21/64" drill bit so that I could have my drill directly under the box and could drill straight up instead of fighting it the whole time or coming in at an angle. You can clamp the box to the frame and mark the holes but I personally prefer having the box there while I drill to ensure I'm staying straight and within the mounting holes.
Dave unfortunately doesn't make house calls but if you're close to our Wentzville, MO location you can setup an appointment with customer service (800-298-8924) and we can install the system for you. If you're too far to make the trip then you can use our installer locator, which I've linked below, to find a local shop to complete the swap for you.

Hey Jeff, how did the install of the Comfort Ride system go on your Riverstone Legacy? I'm curious if the alignment tips and longer U-bolts worked out as expected. Your update could make it easier for others planning the same upgrade.
