Worn suspension parts can lead to extra movement and uneven wear over time. These shackle links connect key suspension components and help keep everything working together properly, making them an easy way to restore suspension performance.
Shackle links need to match the suspension geometry already on your trailer, so the center-to-center measurement matters. These links measure 2-1/4" from hole center to hole center and are 0.224" thick, giving you the key dimensions to compare before replacing worn links in a compatible 1-3/4" double-eye spring suspension setup.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at some replacement standard shackle links by Lippert. So folks, these shackle links are what connects the suspension springs to the rear hangar or the equalizer on your trailer. It's a very important part. It is simple to swap out.
I'm pretty confident you can do it yourself. Now what you got to do is when you get your old ones off, you want to measure the overall length. And in this case, I get about three and a half, but more importantly than that even, you want to measure center hole to center of hole and I get two and a quarter on these. So two and a quarter, these are about .224 thick. I use dial calipers to measure them before our time together today.
Now these are compatible with one and three quarter inch wide double eye spring suspensions. These work with degreasable wet bolts or standard shackle bolts. These are heavy duty zinc plated, so you don't have to worry about corrosion, road exposure, those kind of things. They're made to be under the trailer and handle all that contamination from moisture, dirt, grime, etcetera. You will get one, two, three, four in the package.
And that's going to wrap up our look together at these replacement shackle links by Lippert. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Ratings & Reviews
These were better than the OEM parts that were on my axles. Nice and heavy and galvanized. I know we're not supposed to review cust. service, but Kaitlynn with etrailer was sooo helpful in getting my order placed after several failed attempts. Pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Give her a raise!
