When you’re hitting the road with your trailer, ensuring a reliable connection is non-negotiable. The zinc-plated steel construction of the Redline Replacement Shackle Strap not only provides a robust link between your trailer's double-eye leaf spring and the rear hanger or equalizer, but it also boasts impressive corrosion resistance. This makes it perfect for trailers exposed to harsh weather, like boat and snowmobile trailers.
Worried about uneven load distribution on your trailer? The design of this 2-5/8" galvanized shackle link facilitates the necessary pivot of the springs, ensuring a smooth ride with an evenly distributed load between your axles. It’s engineered to enhance towing stability, so you can cruise confidently knowing your trailer’s suspension system is optimized.
A perfect fit means peace of mind. This shackle strap measures 2-5/8" from center to center of the holes, with an overall length of 4", a width of 1-1/4", and a bolt hole diameter of 9/16". Such precise specifications ensure compatibility with a range of trailers and eliminate the need for redrilling, as appreciated by multiple customers.

Just align the bolt holes and secure them; a snug fit means you’re back on the road in no time. Whether replacing worn parts or upgrading for better durability, these shackle links make the task straightforward and stress-free.
Durability is key in components exposed to repeated stress and harsh environments. With a sturdy zinc-plated finish, these shackle links prevent corrosion and maintain integrity over time, keeping your trailer’s suspension system reliable year after year. It’s a longevity solution for those who prioritize sustainable maintenance in trailer upkeep.
Knowing that every manufacturing process has its variances, this shackle link features a thickness ranging between 3/16 inch and 1/4 inch, ensuring you get a fit that works with minimal fuss. Today we're going to be taking a look at a shackle strap. This is designed to connect double eye leaf springs to a rear hanger of the single axle trailer or to an equalizer of a multi axle trailer. This simply allows for the necessary pivot of the springs for an evenly distributed load between the axles and a smooth ride for the trailer. This is a zinc plated steel construction. It's a nice heavy duty design, and it's corrosion resistant so it's great for boat trailers or snow mobile trailers. One shackle strap is included. The length measurement that we have from the center of one hole to the center of the other is going to measure 2 5/8".
Overall length is pretty close to 4". The width is 1 1/4". Thickness is about 1/4". Then the diameter of each hole, that's going to have a diameter of 9/16". That's going to do it for today's look at the steel zinc plated shackle strap..
