When hauling serious weight, your suspension needs a hanger that won’t flex or give out. This rear hanger is built to work with 10,000-lb or 12,000-lb Dexter axles, giving your 3" wide slipper springs a strong, stable mount. It keeps the spring end properly supported so the suspension tracks straight and absorbs bumps the way it should.
A dependable suspension starts with a tight connection. This hanger is drilled for a 1/2" diameter bolt (sold separately), providing the right fit for solid alignment and long-term strength. Once in place, it keeps the spring locked in the right geometry so the trailer rides smooth and predictable.
Heavy-duty springs need the clearance to move freely without binding. At 7-11/16" tall, this hanger gives the proper drop for 3" wide slipper springs, letting them articulate through their full range of travel. It’s designed to take on the stress of large, multi-axle setups where durability and control matter most.
Whether it’s a single, tandem, or triple-axle configuration, this hanger does one job and does it well—keeping the spring in place ride after ride. It’s a straightforward, bolt-on part that restores the backbone of your suspension so you can tow with confidence.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the 7-11/16 tall rear hanger for three inch wide slipper springs. Now this rear hanger will work with your trailer suspension system. That'll have a three inch wide slipper spring, provides attachment points for the leaf spring. The hanger will basically suspend the spring from the trailer frame by providing a resting place for the slipper end of the spring.
This is designed for trailers with a 10,000 pound or 12,000 pound Dexter axle. We mentioned it fits the three inch wide slipper spring. So just to show you the inside measurement. That'll be right at about three and a quarter inches. It is designed to work with a half inch diameter bolt.
Right here is where the bolt will go through and the diameter of that hole is half an inch. And when we say 7-11/16 inches tall, when you measure the height of a hanger it's measured center of that bolt hole to the top of the hanger. So if we get our ruler and we go to the center, very top, you can see that meets your 7-11/16 overall height. But that should do it for the review on the 7-11/16 inch tall rear hanger for three inch wide slipper springs..
