Today we're going to take a look at the 4-1/2" tall rear hanger bracket for 2-1/2" wide slipper springs. This is a heavy duty rear bracket that'll connect the slipper end of the slipper string to your trailer. It is a weld-on installation, attaches to the underside of your trailer frame. This hanger in particular is used on the Deckster 10,000-lb general duty axles and this is for a quantity of one hanger. This is the application for this, again, is the rear of the slipper spring. Give you a few overall dimensions on this, the length, which will be measured from this end to this end, if we put a ruler on it, it's going to be right at 4-1/2". The width on it, overall width, edge to edge, is 3-1/8" wide.
The inside width, where the slipper spring would go is 2-5/8" wide. Then the overall height from the very bottom to the very top is going to be right at 7" tall. This is designed to fit 2-1/2" wide slipper springs, and when they call this a 4-1/2" tall rear hanger, that measurement is from the center of this hole to the top of the bracket. You can see if we put the ruler on that center to the top is right at 4-1/2" tall. That should do it for the review on the 4-1/2" tall rear hanger bracket for 2-1/2" wide slipper springs.
