This Optronics Miro-Flex LED light uses three amber diodes behind a clear lens to put out a strong, efficient beam without the power drain of incandescent bulbs. At just 0.047 amps on a 12.8V system, it gives you bright visibility while drawing minimal current. The faceted Miro-Flex reflector boosts light output and adds a clean, modern look that stands out both day and night.
Forget about swapping bulbs or dealing with broken filaments. The LEDs in this light last up to 50 times longer than traditional incandescent options, meaning consistent performance and less maintenance over time. Water intrusion is one of the biggest causes of light failure, but this unit is fully waterproof and submersible. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into one piece, so no moisture gets in to corrode circuits or damage LEDs. It’s built to handle anything from heavy rain to full submersion with confidence.
Measuring 4-3/16" long by 1-3/8" tall and only 3/4" thick, this oval light mounts neatly on flat surfaces without sticking out awkwardly. The built-in chrome bezel snaps on for a finished look. It uses a simple 2-wire design—one lead and one ground—for straightforward wiring on any 12V DC setup.
With its P2 rating, this light projects a focused 45-degree beam to either side of center, giving you a total of 90 degrees of coverage that’s ideal for use as a clearance or side marker light when properly mounted. The result is strong forward visibility that helps other drivers see your trailer clearly in low light conditions.

Today we are going to take a look at Optronics Sealed Miro-Flex, Mini Star Side Marker Light with Clear Lens, part number MCL17CAB. This is a sealed and waterproof light so it is safe to use on boat or jetski trailers. It has a crystal clear lens with 3 amber-colored LEDs inside. The LEDs draw a total of .047 amps at 12.8 volts and are covered by a lifetime warranty from Optronics. There is also a snap on plastic chrome cover for the light. Next, we will hook it up to a power supply, so you can see how the light looks. We will connect one of our wire leads to our ground and the other to our power. Perfect match to factory installed Front Cab Marker Lights! 2015 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45LP
This item was an exact replacement for a marker light on my T@B320S trailer.. When we pulled the old light, we realized that the wiring went directly through the outside of the trailer into an inaccessible area inside the trailer. So we had to cut the old wires and rewire with wire nuts. Not sure how weatherproof this is, but it was the only way to do it. The light itself worked fine.

Hi Katie---the recent purchase was for a set of new amber side lights for a small steel trailer that I am removing the rust and repainting, packing the wheel bearings, etc. I use this trailer to tow either a 10' wooden boat or a 10' aluminum boat, along with mulch, sod, and anything else that can fit on a 10' trailer.
Great little lights, and very bright as well. They have been installed on a trailer and submerged many times since installed, and still work great!! Can't beat LED's for brightness and, hopefully, longevity!!! Attached is one picture of the overall trailer, and a closeup of the amber side light. I also have 2 red sidelights that are mounted above water at the rear of the trailer, and they are still working great as well.

These side lights are bright LEDs and the amber ones have been submerged more than once-and are still working great!! The red side lights are mounted high on the vertical poles, so do not get submerged in water. However, all 4 side lights have been exposed to the weather for over a year, and all are still burning bright!! These are cool little LED lights!!
