When you just need a simple, dependable light to keep your license plate visible, this compact incandescent unit gets it done. At only 2-5/8" wide by 1-9/16" tall and 2-3/16" long, it fits neatly without taking up much space. The clear lens and chrome-plated housing give off a clean, bright light that keeps your plate easy to read. It’s DOT compliant too, so you stay within lighting regulations wherever you go.
Installing this light doesn’t take much time or wiring know-how. It uses a simple stud mount with a 1-3/4" center-to-center spacing and grounds through the mounting hardware. The single-wire design means you only have one connection to make for power—no extra steps or guessing which wire goes where. It’s an easy fit for quick replacements or straightforward wiring jobs.
This rectangular license plate light is made to last with a durable polycarbonate housing and lens that hold up well to regular road use. If the bulb ever wears out, you don’t have to change the whole fixture—just pop off the snap-on chrome housing and replace the 194 bulb. At 12.8V it draws only 0.2 amps, so it won’t put extra strain on your electrical system while keeping things bright and reliable for years of towing or hauling.

Today we are looking at the Optronics Stud Mounted Trailer License Plate Light, part number LP41CB. This light comes with a replaceable bulb. It stud mounts using two studs on 1 and 3/4 inch centers as a single wire design and grounds to the mounting studs of the light. Lets go ahead and supply power, and we'll show you what the light looks like when its lit up. Connect our ground here to the mounting stud, and our power to the wire.
Now we'll go ahead and turn the lights off so you can see what it looks like when it's lit up when it's dark. There you have it for the Optronics Stud Mounted Trailer License Plate Light, part number LP41CB.

This light is extremely cheap and it shows but it'll work just fine for what I want it for. These really need flat washers too, not just lock washers.
Needed a replacement for old light and this one works great. Also, a person can replace the bulb instead of having to replace the entire unit.

This is a replacement of the original duplicate part on my 24 foot Elite trailer. The trailer is over 10 years old and the original light does not stay lit. Since this is an exact replacement I expect to get the same usage as the original.
.Online ordering from e.trailer.com is a great website so easy to find everything you could possibly need.Their prices are lower then a lot of other places and trust me I've looked they have great prices on everything and shipping is so cheap and anything over $99.00 is free shipping come on you could ask for anything better..

Just what I needed for replacement license plate lamp light covers on both my utility and pontoon trailers. The entire light assembly came of course, but I didn't need to replace the base. The bonus was the light bulb. I have used etrailer for other replacement parts in the past, I love the website, but most of all the terrific customer service. You guys rock!
I ordered this product to replace the broken one on my enclosed trailer. Although it was not a direct fit (mainly because stupid me guestimated the size i needed), a little fab work it works perfectly and looks better than new!
