Ian with etrailer here, and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Pro Series Detachable Footplate. This footplate is gonna be intended for your 2 1/4 inch jack that uses the two-inch diameter inner tube, and does go up to 5,000 pounds for that capacity, so pretty high capacity for even a smaller footplate like that. The foot is gonna be zinc-plated, so that's gonna help keep away that rust and corrosion, and does include the clip and pin to be able to secure that to your jack. Regardless of whether you're replacing the footplate or adding one on because your jack didn't come with the foot plate, this is gonna be that best option for that. Probably the lowest price jack plate you sell, but it is sturdy and zinc coated. Why pay more.
So much nicer to have this than have to keep a piece of plywood to put the jack on. For the small investment i say BUY IT !!!
Good and inexpensive, it even includes the pin! Works great, I don't have to keep a chunk of wood under the jack to prevent it from sinking into the ground.
Works great, keeps my 94' Valley 2 Horse up and so far no sinking. Though I'll probably still add a board for the spring but that's just because it does get very wet and muddy up here in Maine that time of year. Quick and easy to put on and stays put and out of the way.
