Nothing ruins setup faster than a trailer that rocks every time you move. The MORryde X-Brace 5th Wheel Landing Gear Stabilizer bolts onto your landing gear to cut out front-to-back and side-to-side movement once you’re parked. Great solid product, easy to install. But I don’t know who at Moryde thought the box it was shipped in was a good idea. It arrived with both of ends completely gone from the weight of the product, it was all taped up by the Posy Office with reseal tape, not sure how all the parts arrived. Would recommend to anyone.
Easier to install than other brands and stabilizes the fifth wheel.

This system is efficient and I would give 5 star if :
- The package was unopened (not transport but from etrailer).
- Nuts and bolts had washers (they saved 10 cents)
- the strap that goes over the jack switch has the double sided tape on the velcro (they saved 3 cents).
I expected better care from etrailer.com and will definitely think twice on my next order !!!
The price was good, shipping was fast and I was able to install in less than 30 minutes. Appears to be heavy duty and high quality
The product is great and made a huge difference in stabilizing our camper. Shipping took longer than expected and box arrived in rough condition.
I have a 19 99 King Of the road fifth wheel installing the supports was easy due to the type of landing gear RV has had to mount them in a different position hopefully it will work well Picture attached

Great product. Easy to install and easy to use. Paired with a 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer. Helped to stabilize the front on my 5th wheel trailer. Went front lots of sway to almost zero sway.
The cross brace worked great. It took the shake out of camper. Would highly recommend them. Installation was easy. Thanks for a great product.

Great for reducing sway on my 5th wheel.
The box arrived fairly damaged with extra packing tape added to the torn box ends.
Assembly was made more complicated than it should have been. The instructions have wrong wrench sizes. One end of a rod was reamed too small so the locking pin wouldn't slide through without me pounding it with a hammer. The sticker to hang the reminder tab had come off the hang tab and was stuck to another random part.
Once assembled, though, seems to work well in reducing movement up front. I added X braces to the tires from [vendor] for $[XX] and everything is much more solid now.
Delivery was quick and on time. Product works as described. This is my second set of these. I would suggest cleaning and lubricating the screws on each end several times a year based on past experience.
After getting some parts issues corrected (Thanks to Nicole and George at etrailer, and thank you Ryan at MorRyde), the installation went well. The side to side motion of the fifth wheel was essentially eliminated. This is a great product. I don’t think I need to install or use the Kingpin support that I purchased. The landing gear braces are all that’s needed. I did find that some silicone lubricant sprayed in the tubes helps with the extension and retraction of the braces. They can be a little tight due to the paint coating of the smaller inside tube. You will notice in the pictures that I chose to use the bolts instead of the pins to attach the braces to the brackets. I did this because I’m leaving the braces in place during landing gear operation (don’t forget to pull the tube lock pins), and I feel it helps to prevent thievery. The included flag to place at the landing gear control as a reminder to not operate with brace lock pins inserted, is a nice feature but my included warning flag did not include an adhesive type Velcro strip. I opted to install an electrical disconnect switch at the gear motor ground. After installing the tube lock pins, I immediately open the switch, prior to adjusting the braces at my camp spot or RV park pad. If you have a fifth wheel, I sincerely recommend this product.
This product was a game changer for stability of the 5th wheel in the bedroom area. Absolutely reduced side to side swag to almost zero. Have since traded in the 5th wheel it was put on but would get this product again.
Very easy to install and really helps with the back and forth movement of the camper. I like that you don't have to remove them and install them when you are setting up. Since they are permanently installed it makes setting up a lot easier. just follow the instructions. I combined these with the stabilizer that fits in the trailer hitch and they work great together.
Works as described removed 95% of the shaking in my 5th wheel
The initial problems with broken box and losing parts in shipping were solved early. The lacking instructions were also solved also in a timely manner. The stabilizers are installed and work as good as hoped! Now I just have to level up the 5th wheel and line up the holes put the pins in, turn until snug and I’m done.

Theyve worked great until a fluke accident with road garbage. A tire tread from a semi went under my truck and hit the bracing causing one to come off at one end and the other bent. I have another ordered another because I liked it so much. It should be here this month sometime. I still think its a great product.
A weld broke during installation- trying to get a replacement part
These work INCREDIBLY well. The install was easy AFTER I got the correct instructions from etrailer. The instructions that came in the box were horrible, missed steps and no use instructions. After the DL from etrailer, all went well. About 45 minutes start to finish and the difference is HUGE. NO shake whatsoever. One of the best upgrades to my 5th wheel so far.

This produce still looks and works like new. The RV is very stable with them enabled tightened down. Very satisfied.
I ordered the MoRyde 5th wheel cross brace to stop the shaking in our 26' Winnebago Micro Minnie. The brace was easy to install and does a great job of stopping the trailer shaking; I don't even need to twist it tight. The downside is that it was too long to fit between my jacks so I had to take it to a machine shop and pay them to shorten each brace by 6".

I wanted to ask you a question about shortening the braces. Do you know if the machine shop just cut the open ends of the tube? Would you be able to send pictures of the modifications? I just want to make sure that it is safe for you to use. If it was just cutting the open ends of the tubes, then that is fine, however if it was more extensive then it could be problematic.
Installed the morryde x- braces . Have not been out camping yet, but definitely can tell a difference just by trying to shake the front of the 5th wheel.
Box was torn open when it arrived. All parts were there. Install was straight forward. Will be simpler to use than king pin tripod.
The MORyde X-brace is well built and we've gone from feeling every toss and turn to rock solid. Easy to install and great etrailer service as always. Thanks also to Jared Gillis for his YouTube review.
Have not installed yet, however, why is it that lately most of my etrailer order boxes are damaged, ripped open etc. My neighbors with trailers have also commented on the same thing. Are these poorly repacked returns??
Fortunately this time there doesn’t appear to be damage and inventoried parts and all appear to be there, but it could’ve been quite different.

If you ever receive an item in a taped or damaged package, especially if anything from your order is damaged or missing, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Most times if a package is taped or damaged, it most likely happened in transit to you. If this ever comes up for you or your neighbors, we will be happy to help you get this sorted out.
It does help, but doesn't eliminate the movement in the RV. My issue is the design if your landing gear doesn't have 2 inches of rigid tubing below the frame. Look at the instructions step 3A/3B. If you have to use 3B then find something else. I have used this for a couple months thinking I would get used to it, but now I am taking it off and throwing it away. The problem is that if you aren't careful retracting the landing gear, it can retract until it binds up the X Brace bracket and that causes the pin in the landing gear to get jammed and you cannot retract the drop legs. Forget about auto retract, you will definitely bind it up. Then, while you're sweating and loading up, you have to extend the landing gear a few inches, get out your tools and loosen the X Brace brackets to allow you to pull the landing gear pin and retract the drop legs. You can avoid this by manually retracting the legs and stopping short of the brackets, but after having this happen at least 3 times, I have had enough. Also, the process of lining up the holes to tighten the brace is not as easy as it seems, and when you get to the next site, if the legs are shorter or longer you have to realign the holes again.

This product is excellent. There is a lot of sway on my 5th wheel trailer. Once I tighten the Morryde stabilizer and lock in the pins, the majority of the sway is completely gone. Highly recommended.
