After unhitching your gooseneck trailer, steady it with the Ultra-Fab tripod stabilizer. Simply position the tripod beneath your trailer's coupler and release the chain that holds the stabilizer hitch ball in place. The hitch ball will rise into the gooseneck coupler. Reattach the chain by hooking a bottom link around the bracket on the tripod leg. Now use the handle at the base of the hitch ball to fine-tune the height of the stabilizer. Turn counterclockwise until the coupling is complete.

If you use an Andersen Hitch for your fifth wheel, you need one of these to help stabilize the front of the camper. My only, minor, complaint is I wish the legs were a little longer. If the pad is slopping to the front of the camper, and you have to raise the nose to level it, you will have to really bring the legs in close so the support is tall enough. But I have only had that problem at one camping site.
Got this to work with the Anderson Hitch Ultimate Fifth Wheel Connection and it works perfect! Would highly recommend this product if you have the Anderson hitch.
After changing my 5th wheel trailer to Gooseneck I could no longer use the my old one. This one is great. Doing a better job of than the one I had with the Reese hitch setup. Very Happy with it.
I chose the product to use with an Andersen Ultimate kingpin adapter and found that the depth of the adapter is slightly more than expected. This causes the stabilizer ball mechanism to rub against the bottom. Despite the mismatch for the desired usage, the stabilizer is well constructed and easy to use. I plant to adapt it to better fit my selected hitch.
Received stand, good shipping time and communication on the shipping , easy to set up ball works good with the Anderson hitch had the wife get into the bedroom and move around reduced the sway in the trailer by 90% before the movement felt like a mild earth quake very happy with the construction of the tripod easy setup and will store easy . Only thing I couldn't figure out is where the lock hooks up on it, the videos online shows how they work on the kingpin version only
I’m a little disappointed. The order was correct but the packaging looked like it was thrown from a 5 story building and it was missing a part. With as beat up as the box was, I’m surprised there were any parts in it at all. Hopefully they’ll make it right.

Don't believe this tri-pod has had any real affect in stabilizing our unit. Tried several different approaches but the left to right wobble still continues. As Ive learned 4 corner Lippert Self Leveling Jacks tend to do this. Don't regret the purchase. Wish we had better results.

Hello, due to the nature of the unit and how it attaches it will not stabilize side to side motion. It will only help front to back.
Bought this to help stabilize our camper and it has helped, it’s a camper and it moves but this stand helped alleviate some of it and I also noticed during thunderstorms it helps.No regrets
Good product.
Works great, did what I needed it to do. Install was easy. We parked our 5th wheel at the coast in Texas for 6 months and it did its job. Take down was easy, the only thins is that the chain rusted but this is due to being in the coast and salt water environment. I would definitely recommend this product.
Works as needed
I recently purchased the Andersen 5th wheel hitch and installed it in my 2013 Silverado Short Box. In the beginning I wasn't sure about the Andersen Hitch but now that I have towed with it, there is NO going back to a normal 5th wheel. However changes had to be made the 5th wheel stabilizing Jack. That's why I ordered this product. It's simple and it hooks up right away and does the trick for me. If there is one flaw at all it would be the neck length on the ball. If the ball had about another inch on the neck length, the winder arms would not make contact with the red plastic housing on the Andersen coupler. But this thing works great and I do recommend this product.

Stabilizer is working well after one year of use. No issues to report.
Well it got here fast. And helped me get done what I needed. I'm totally happy with my purchase.
For the price and simplicity this is a good buy. Since purchasing I replaced my Andersen king pin adapter with a Reese Goosebox. It was fairly simple to adapt this stabilizer to set lower. The Ultra Fab works great.
Well, I only gave it 2 stars because it states in the description that the height range is from 31 to 54 inches to the top of the ball. Mine is at 33 inches and the chain is too short for that height so I had to buy an extra piece from the hardware store to make it work. Needs a longer chain.
Awesome stabilizer. I also purchased the leg extensions since I use this on my fifth trailer that has the Andersen Fifth Wheel hitch so it is pretty tall. The leg extensions don't say they are compatible with this specific model, but they work perfectly.
I used this on my toy hauler with Anderson hitch. I pinned it in place at the ball and spun the tri-pod until it was close to the ground. Once I got the legs in place I chained it and tightened the handles. It seems to stabilize the trailer better. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a little awkward to get the legs and feet in place. Overall I think it was a good value and should last for several years.
I was hesitant to purchase this item for months. Really didn't think that this would make a huge difference. Whenever I saw another fifth wheel that had one I would ask what they thought about it and nearly everyone said that it was well worth it. Now that we have one, we are so impressed with how much this stand has increased the stability and reduced nearly all of our fifth wheel vibrations. We have a washer and dryer in the front of the RV. During the spin cycles the entire RV would shake. Now, with the tripod in place, we couldn't be happier with how little the RV shakes and vibrates, especially when doing laundry, We would highly recommend getting one if you too are tired of your RV vibrating and wanting a more stable and comfortable fifth wheel.
To top it off, it was shipped and received much quicker than expected.
we had a hard time finding a tripod for our converted 5th wheel to a gooseneck because of the height of the tripods. Finally found this one and we love it. We can definitely tell a difference in the stabilization in the front of the camper. thanks etrailer.
So far it’s been great, I’ve only had it a few days but it seems to do the job. We got it for our Andersen hitch, we weren’t sure it would make a difference but I feel it does. It has cut down on sway you can feel. The product it very sturdy and was extremely easy to set up and use. Happy camper ;)
I just received the king pin stabilizer and it is fantastic. It works well with my Anderson ultimate advantage hitch. I would highly recommend everyone with an Anderson hitch to get this product.
The 5th wheel tri pod arived with both ends of the box torn open, to my surprise all the parts were there, miracles to happens. The the tri pod works just fine.
Tripod is well built and should a good job, just as I expected. etrailer's web site was easy to navigate and shipping was fast and as promised.
My only comment is the manufactures box appeared to be durable, but when it arrived it had a large hole in the bottom, luckily all pieces were still in the box and nothing was damaged.
I ordered a stabilizer hitch the package was open on both ends chain was hanging out. I think you could use better packaging. I love the product works great
