Hi, friends. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Terran Industries Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for your 7000 pound trailer axle. Now this idler hub assembly is a complete replacement kit. This designed for your 7000 pound Dexter E-Z Lube and etrailer Easy Grease trailer axles. And this comes with everything that you need for installation, including the pre-matched inner and outer bearings, a grease seal, and dust cap with a removable plug, making this replacement really straightforward and hassle-free.

So the hub itself is rated for 3,500 pounds, so this will support a 7,000 pound trailer axle when used as a pair. And the bearings do come pre-greased to help reduce friction and wear. That's gonna promote smoother operation and longer service life. A corrosion resistant finish is going to help protect against rust and extend durability, even when exposed to harsh weather and road conditions. Now I just wanted to point out, when I pulled this out of the box, it's packed really nicely compared to some other hub assemblies that I've seen in the past.

But at least in the one that I received, my outer bearing was separate, wrapped up in plastic in grease, and I just popped that into place. So I just wanted to let you know that that might be the same case for you as well. But everything will be greased up, ready to go. And you also get an extra tube of grease as well. So I don't think I've seen this before either with a hub assembly such as this.

So that's a great addition. Now let me give you the bearing information here. The inner bearing is gonna be 25520. The outer bearing is 14125A. You see that I have the race information listed there as well.

And of course the races are gonna be pressed in when you get this. And then the grease seal is GS-2250DL. The precision machining is going to ensure a secure fit on the spindle for proper wheel alignment and dependable performance. And the hub features this eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, which is one of the most common wheel bolt patterns used on heavy duty trailers. This is gonna be compatible with trailer wheels, ranging from 16 to 17 and a half inches. It uses half inch wheel bolts. And of course, as I'm sure you know, since this is an idler hub, this does not include a brake drum or braking service. Surface, rather. It is intended for trailers that don't use brakes on that axle, serving only to support the wheel and allow it to rotate freely.
