Updated 12/27/2023 | Published 12/23/2023

Question:

I bought a brake hub kit today from you all and it measures 10 3/16 and the one that came off measures 9 3/4 will this still work on my trailer

Although both of those fall under a 10" hub and rotor assembly, it sounds like you do not have DeeMaxx on there right now. In general the disc brake parts cannot be interchanged. The # DE49VR you got has a 10-3/16" diameter, Kodiak # KHR10D sits at 10", and then there is Dexter # K08-435-05 which matches your 9-3/4" measurement. Seems like you have Dexter on there right now so you would want to stick with Dexter replacement parts assuming that is correct. The other option would be to swap out the kit entirely with # DE66YR.
