Features to know about

Vertical Bunk Brackets for Aluminum Boat Trailers

Vertical bunks help guide and steady your boat's tall sides, and these brackets keep those bunks locked in place. The 5" wide plates spread the load across more of the board, helping reduce dents, squeaks, and slow shifting after repeated launches. Built from 1/4" hot dip galvanized steel, the brackets stay stiff under load and hold up to the wet conditions boat trailers see every season. The 8" height provides solid support for vertical bunk setups while fitting neatly into tight trailer layouts.

Video Transcript for Review of Tie Down Boat Trailer Parts - Bunks - TD67VR

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at these Tie Down brackets for vertical boat bunks. Folks, these are gonna be eight inches tall, two and three-16th inches on that side right here and then five inches wide over all. Now these are gonna give you a nice five-inch wide plate that's gonna support those tall bunk boards. That way your whole ride's steady and loads predictably. This also keeps the bunks from twisting.

This is a quarter-inch thick steel so it's gonna resist flexing and flexing as we know is gonna cause boards to shift over time and get misshaped and whatnot. And these are made to handle those tough rain conditions. If you can see there, these have been hot dip galvanized that's gonna protect against that corrosion, road grime, road grit, water, salt exposure, et cetera. And these do work great with aluminum trailers and they work great with frames and I-beam layouts of all different kinds. And you're going to get two brackets.

This is enough to complete one vertical bunk setup. Folks, that's going to wrap up our quick look together at these Tie Down brackets for vertical boat bunks. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
