This rust-resistant assembly helps support 1 bunk board on your boat trailer. Swivel bracket enables board to tilt when loading a boat. Mounting slots allow for height adjustment. Dimpled surface keeps bracket from sliding along trailer frame.

They allow a mounted bunk board, which is run from the front of the trailer to the back, to pivot while you are loading a boat. On kayak trailers, these brackets are mounted to the trailer's frame and support bunk boards that run across the trailer.
Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel parts are hot-dipped in zinc after being stamped. This creates a coating that is typically 3 mil to 5 mil thick. This thick, all-around coating allows galvanized steel products to provide years of use without rusting or corroding.

I purchased 4 of these to attach to my boat lift. I'm using them to retrofit the lift to accommodate a PWC instead of a larger boat that I sold. They were shipped timely and arrived within 5 days of my order date. The materials are as depicted on the vendors web site. They are rugged pieces of metal that are professionally made. They will work perfectly for my application.

Just what I needed to convert my roller trailer to a bunk trailer. The rollers were too small and concentrated too much of the boat weight on a small area.
Just received my order but haven't had time to install anything yet. Bought a different boat and rebuilding the trailer. Have had nothing but good service from etrailer. great products, i have bought these brackets and a couple of hitch's that came with all the hardware, amazing. the plug and play wiring harnesses are unbeatable also. i manage a repair shop and would recommend these great products without hesitation. this is the only site i could find a complete assortment of bearings for trailers without being hit over the head with a shovel at checkout...........thanks.

The bolster brackets are correct and work well on my trailer.
I received my bunk board swivel brackets faster than I expected. The quality is very good and should hold up for many years of use. I haven't installed them yet but as I go through this boat/trailer restoration I expect to order more products from etrailer. Fast and easy, that's what I like!

Very difficult to find this piece and it works great. I needed to order another set and it was so easy to do so on their site. It was amazingly easy to find my old order and just purchase another set. Smoothest site on the Internet for that! I built my own jet ski dock with these pieces.
The brackets and ubolts fit perfectly and made my trailer like new
I'm new to boating & trailers, am just a do-it-yourselfer, and found etrailer online. The trailer I am refurbishing for my son, was built in 1974. The main bunks were supported by angle cut 2"x4"s bolted to the trailer frame. They did not swivel, were not adjustable. I replaced these with the CE Smith bolster and swivel bracket assemblies. These arrived very quickly, and were perfect for my application. They are easy to install, just two 1/2" diameter carriage bolts with cut washers & lock washers per bracket assembly, and you're done. These can be adjusted for final set up to cradle your boat. They're very sturdy, and galvanized for corrosion resistance.
Now, I did also replace the original bunks, using 8' pressure treated 2x6"s, that I covered with outdoor/deck carpeting, stapling the carpet to the boards underneath. My mistake, which the picture shows, was putting carpet on one bunk before the holes were drilled & the mounting 1/2" carriage bolts were installed. Rather than removing the carpet & starting over, I just cut the carpet & folded it back where the mounting bolts would go. Once the bolts were in, I just glued the carpet back down with waterproof contact cement. I also chose to put the bunks loosely onto the top of the mounting brackets, after bolting them to the trailer. I used a mechanic's creeper to roll underneath and triple check then mark the drill holes on the bunks, to assure a good alignment for drilling the mounting bolt holes on the bunks, before finally drilling for & mounting the bunk bolts. This worked great, the bunk mounted perfectly to the brackets. The brackets do come with locking nuts on the swivel part, that needs to be tightened down into the final position, to allow the swivel without too much wiggle.
