Will the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly Work if Attached to Boat Trailer Frame

Question:

I do not see how the CE10000G bracket could attach to the frame not cross member and still provide a swivel adjustment at the bunk to accommodate the angle of the boat hull. Can you provide guidance on this? My set up is similar to photo attached.

The # CE10000G CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly is designed to mount on the boat trailer's crossmembers. You are correct in thinking that mounting this to the boat trailer frame would not provide swivel adjustment as intended since the swivel would rotate in the wrong direction.

The exception to this is with kayak trailer frames. The brackets are mounted to the trailer's frame on a kayak trailer to support bunk boards that run across the trailer.
