Question:

looking to modify a boat lift to accomodate a 23 foot tritoon. Brackets are crazy expensive, there will be six brackets per toon, 23 footer, will these brackets work?

The CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly - Galvanized Steel - 9" - Qty 1 # CE10000G is designed to hold a boat on a trailer, so it isn't very different to have them on a boat lift. These will work well for the tritoon you referenced. You just use a bunk board at an angle on each sided of the individual pontoons. You will have 6 bunk boards and I've linked the page to the options for you.

If you don't need a certain height, then the CE Smith V-Wing Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel - Qty 1 # CE26244G or the CE Smith Bolster Bracket for Pontoon Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel - Qty 1 # CE10052-32G are more common for the pontoons even though the bolster bracket are used on many trailers.
