Question:
I have a 1999 Escort boat trailer that carries a 18 foot Bayliner open bow boat with Inboard motor. Will these brackets accommodate the weight of the boat without the rear stiffening bars that are currently on the back of the bunks on the trailer?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, the CE Smith Bolster and Swivel Bracket Assembly # CE10000G will accommodate the weight of your boat. The only thing you will need to install them are U-bolts such as part # CE15283GA-2.
