When you need to haul something tall, you shouldn’t have to remove your cover. With the Revolver X2, you just roll it up. The 1/4" thick, rustproof aluminum slats are hinged so the cover rolls evenly and stays aligned every time. Built-in nylon straps and plastic buckles secure it neatly behind the cab, while rubber bumpers keep it from touching the paint. Because it mounts inside the bed rails, you can still use stake pockets and tie-downs without losing space.

This cover combines a soft look with solid protection. Under the sleek, textured black vinyl is a skeleton of aircraft-grade aluminum slats that can support up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The hybrid design means it looks like a soft cover but has the cut-resistant security of a hard one. When the tailgate is closed and locked, the bed and cover are secure front to back—no Velcro or snaps to fuss with, just solid latching that locks down automatically.

Rain, sun, or snow—this cover holds up. The matte black vinyl skin blocks UV rays and keeps the aluminum protected from corrosion. Rubber seals run along the rails, cab, and tailgate to help keep water out. Felt strips under the slats protect both the vinyl top and your hands when the cover gets hot or cold. It’s built for long-term use through every season.
The Revolver X2 sits nearly flush inside the bed rails for a smooth, factory-clean look that doesn’t stick up or rattle in the wind. To open it, you just drop the tailgate and pull one of the corner release cords—both sides unlatch at once so you can roll it up in seconds. Press down on the rear slat when you’re ready to close, and it automatically locks along both rails with no tricky alignment needed.

Getting it installed doesn’t require drilling or complicated tools. The frame rails clamp to the inside of the bed using included brackets and bolts that make alignment simple. Pre-set shims and spacers keep everything square so you get a snug fit on the first try. Once it’s tightened down, you’re ready to roll—literally.

Hi Laura - I am still pleased with my BAK bed cover. I dont like it quite as well as the previous version I had on my other 2013 Nissan Frontier truck which got stolen, hence the new cover, but I am still pleased with the product. The new cover doesnt roll or latch quite as smoothly as the old one, but it still works well. They also slightly changed the clips for anchoring the rolled up cover, and I find them harder to clip in and maintain tension on the strap, but again they do work. Thanks for following up.

Its still holding up well and it looks as good as it did the day I installed it. I have no regrets about making this purchase.

Well, not so happy with the product. The carpeting fell off on the underside of the cover. Also the right side of the cover towards the tailgate shrank. Its been a few months since I started to have those issues and should of contacted you earlier for warranty. Hopefully its not too late for a warranty claim.

I am sorry to hear that this cover is not working out for you. Would you be able to send a picture of where the vinyl is separating from the aluminum?

I am sorry to hear about your experience with this cover. It is a BAK industries product that makes the revolver covers, did your not have the logo on the left side by the tailgate? What kind of truck did you install this on?
Do you have a question about this Tonneau Cover?

My judgment has not changed. This cover is still excellent. If I ever get a different truck, this will be among my first accessory purchases.
