The Revolver X4s keeps gear safe and dry thanks to its tough aluminum and vinyl build. The 1/4" thick, aircraft-grade aluminum slats give it strength while the double-coated matte black vinyl top resists tears, impacts, and UV damage. It supports up to 400 lbs of evenly distributed weight when rolled out, so it’s built for real use. With weather seals and beveled edges directing water off the sides, your bed stays protected without the need for drain tubes.

Loading large items is simple. The cover rolls up by hand using built-in nylon straps and buckles that secure it neatly behind the cab. It mounts inside the bed rails so you still have access to stake pockets for tie-downs or racks. Whether you’re hauling plywood or camping gear, you’ll have full bed access in seconds without needing to take the cover off.

Opening or closing this cover takes just one person. Pull either of the two release cords to unlatch it, roll it forward, and secure it with the straps. To close it, roll it back out and press down on the rear slat—built-in side latches automatically lock as the tailgate shuts. There’s no Velcro or snaps to fuss with, and when the tailgate is locked, so is your cover.

Unlike bulky covers that sit high above the rails, this one sits about 1-1/2" above for a clean, flush look. The matte black finish on both the vinyl top and aluminum underbody blends smoothly with the truck’s lines while resisting fading and wear over time. Rubber and felt liners protect both the finish and your hands when temperatures swing from hot to cold.

Getting it installed doesn’t require drilling or complicated tools—just a wrench. The self-aligning clamp system keeps everything square on the first try, thanks to slotted brackets, pre-installed shims, and spacers. Once tightened, the rails stay snug for a solid fit that’s ready for everyday use.

Still working great. Actually removed it from my 2020 Silverado TB to a 2024 Silverado LTZ, no problem.

Glad to hear you are still happy with it, Todd! These hard roll up covers are definitely nice and durable. What are you keeping in your bed? I have a bunch of survival type gear in a milk crate. Can never be too prepared!

The cover has been on my truck for a little over a year now. It looks exactly as it did the day I installed it. By far the best tonneau cover I have ever put on one of my trucks. Also, the roll up is much more convenient than the older tri-fold models I have had before. This thing looks good and is tough as nails. It has not been babied over the last year, but shows no signs of weartear. My one year review is 5 STARS!! I highly recommend this cover!

My previous review still stands. I have to reposition cover at least once a month. Still love the cover other than that issue. I believe a redesign of the connector would be in order for this product to get 5 stars.

Not great anymore… the glued on waterproof liner started peeling up about 1 year into service, the the pivot points on the tool up part started to separate towards the back and now it doesn’t roll back flat or seal properly.

I had a second warranty claim in June 2023 due to the same issues. I contacted BAK warranty claims and once again they were quick to respond. I asked them to replace my cover with a BAKFLIP MX4. They agreed and shipped the replacement very quickly. So far the new cover is working fine. Im interested to see how it works in cold and freezing conditions. My personal belief is the BAK Revolver is too heavy when rolled up against the cab on an 8 foot bed. The weight causes it to flex, stressing the hinged ribs. The ribs then start to separate. Im guessing a cover for a shorter bed would not cause the ribs to separate due to less weight when rolled up.

Holy wind strength! Luckily this has a 5 year warranty. I will send you more detailed information about contacting BAK in an email.

Two years in and still very pleased. I get compliments frequently for the tidy appearance and minimal bed capacity impact. One more gotcha I should note: when below freezing, it’s rigid and can be difficult to roll away. Generally a minor issue for me in the mid-Atlantic mid morning sun warms it enough that it’s OK. However, having spent time in NY last winter there were times I simply couldn’t roll it away without concern about damage. If you’re in a more northerly climate, be aware.
