When the road is covered in a few inches of snow or packed ice, these Titan Chain cable tire chains give you the traction you need without the bulk of heavy chain links. The ladder pattern with smooth roller links helps the tires keep forward bite so you can stay in control on snowy pavement or icy driveways. They’re a great “just-in-case” set to keep in your trunk for winter trips or chain-law zones.
If your vehicle has tight wheel-well clearance, these cables meet SAE Class S standards and are built for that kind of space restriction. They require a minimum of 1.46" (37 mm) between the top of the tread and the wheel well and at least 0.59" (15 mm) between the sidewall and the vehicle. That low-profile fit means you can stay compliant with clearance limits while still getting the extra traction you need.
Unlike thick chain links that can make the ride rough, these cables use low-carbon-steel rollers wrapped around wire cross cables. The small, round rollers let the tires roll smoothly over the road surface while still gripping in light snow or ice. You get traction without the harsh bounce or noise that heavier chains can create on pavement.
Each cable threads through a steel channel for a clean hookup—no levers or complex tools required. Once connected, you can add rubber adjusters (sold separately) to keep everything snug. I’m going to write these as a one before I even use them because each trailer sent me a used set. This is unacceptable that they would sell me something brand new and send a use set the bag is all beat up. They are clearly marks on the chains as they have been used before, I’ve ordered products from them before and they’ve never done this to me. In addition on the website, it says that these fit the size of tire that I have 275, 7018, but on the label on the side of the bag, it does not list that size.

We purchased the chains just in case we needed them while going on out ski trip. We never needed them and never used them so I don't know how well they work. I'm giving 5 stars though for the customer service we received when we purchased the chains.
I have not had the chance to use the cables in the snow but the cables are very easy to install and fit the tires perfectly.
As always, etrailer is the best. Great service and delivery is fast. The chains fit my 2017 Ford F-150 perfectly. I run 285/70/17 on a stock aluminum wheel.
I promptly took these out of the box when delivered and installed one on my 4X4 RAM 2500 Diesel and it fit well. The sizing lugs and locks are very heavy duty as is the steel tubing (rollers) that is part of the traction cables. There are very good quality and arrived a week earlier than the order stated.
I haven't had to use the chains in snow yet, but I have checked and they fit my tires well. The only confusion is that the instructions refer to a lever for tightening the chains when attaching them, but there is no lever. So there is no difference between the chains on the inside of the tire and the outside of the tire.
Not what I wanted. I specifically asked for chains, not cables.
Fortunately haven't had to use these on a trip yet but I've tested them in the driveway and off road and they went on and off very straight forward and completely doable by yourself. I'm 5'5 and work a desk job but was able to get these on and off solo. (I do recommend putting a small tarp or canvas drop cloth in with your kit as it does require you to be down in the ground) I also chose to add the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjuster and though it's probably not necessary I did feel like it made the system extra secure and was a nice addition if your tire doesn't fit quite as perfect.
They are ok but they are very loose, the only way to solve that problem would be to purchase the bungee tighteners………so why wouldn’t they be included?

A little sad that this set of Titan Cable Tire Chains does not come with your choice of tensioners as a selectable option. Other than that the look sturdy and a further updates on this review will be forthcoming after an initial fit test and the once used in the snow. It comes with a nice bright orange, low profile carrying bag too!

These tire chains worked very well . Got where I was going and back when we had snow and ice. I WOULD recommend these for sure. The reason for only 4 stars is due to how fast they got rusty washed the salt off and soaked them with Thrust which is a penetrating oil so I hope the next time I need to use them they are usable

I am sorry that your chains arrived in this condition. I do see that these are a confirmed fit for the 275 7018 size tires. As for the marks, we do test fit the chains in house at times; this would explain the condition. We try to make sure everything is put back the way we found it, and that it appears as it would have from the factory. I have sent your information over to our customer service department for them to look into a solution for you.
