Question:
Drive a 2023 F150 tire size 275/60R20. Looking for chains - confused on manufacturer guidance vs state requirements for winter driving in WA.

Hi Cole; you can still potentially use tire chains on your F-150 tires to meet the state requirements. Since the 275/60R20 isn't listed in the manual you will have to measure to make sure you have enough clearance. It sounds like your main concern is making sure you have them to follow the law so I recommend the Titan Chain Cable Tire Chain # TC3029. These require a minimum of 1.46" between the top of the tire tread and wheel well. They also require at least 0.59" between the sidewall of the tire and the vehicle.

Hey Cole, how did things go with the Titan cable chains on your F-150? Were you able to confirm you had enough clearance for that 275/60R20 tire size? Your update could make it easier for others driving in similar winter conditions.
