Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at these three Trimax dual locking laminated steel padlocks. These are keyed alike. Now these weatherproof solid steel padlocks will guard your gear against stuff. They are a heavy duty solid steel padlock that uses a laminated steel casing, a hardened steel shackle, and at the very bottom here a nice black weather resistant cover.
It is a dual locking mechanism so it makes it very tough to pry open. And as we mentioned, the locks are keyed alike so you can use any of the keys in all the locks. It comes with two keys per lock. The hardened steel shackle right here will protect against any bolt cutters. And if you notice, let me go ahead and open one of these up, put your key in and just turn it.
And you notice with the shackle open right over here it has a nice O-ring around the shackle. That'll help seal, keep out any moisture and dirt from getting into the shackle way. And you just push it shut to lock it. Take out your key, put your cover over to protect it. It is a laminated steel lock body.
It is corrosion resistant. The cover we showed you, it is tethered so you don't lose it and then it protects the keyway from any dirt or grime getting into your keyway there. Quantity, again it's three padlocks. They are all keyed alike so you can use one key in all of them. Few measurements on this, I do want to give you the inside height of the lock itself is gonna be right at one and one eighth inches.
And the inside width, right at three quarters of an inch. Shackle diameter is five sixteenths of an inch. But again, just to show you how to open it, pop off your cover, insert your key, twist it, pops open, you're ready to lock it. And then when you go to lock it, just go ahead and take your key out, and just push down and it's all locked, ready to go. Very fast shipping and items are excellent quality.
Locks were perfect for my vevor trimmer rack I was worried that I was shipped the wrong size shackle needed 5/16in shackle well the locks came with rubber weather protection around the shackle which made the lock to big for my hole size so I had to unfortunately remove the rubber coating and the shackle it went through the holes like butter after that so they did ship the correct size. I didn’t want to remove the rubber because it look so good on the locks. So if your thinking about purchasing this size and style (trimax) or different size shackle take the rubber thickness on shackle into consideration unless you know that your holes are big enough for the lock to pass through with the rubber in place if your lock holes are on the small side prepare for modifications. Although I’m not worried about rusting with the rubber being removed because my set up is on my garage wall the locks are quality and is very nice for this type of application and my purchase was the 3pk keyed alike trimax lock set exactly what I needed for my 3rack setup good quality affordable price and I would purchase from this company again.

Glad to hear they are going to work for you, Steven! Sorry you had to cut the rubber coating off though. I will see if I can get that updated on our page so no one else has to do that part. Sounds like you have quite the organized garage! What all do you have mounted?
