Question:
I have a 21 Ram 2500 truck. I have had 4x4s my whole life and have never needed to use chains. The most I drive in snow is up in the mountains on the highway, up to ski areas, and around town when it snows which is rare as I am in the NW at sea level. I really just need chains to satisfy the law to carry chains with you. Which is a good option for something that will be rarely if ever used for 285/60/20 tires?

Expert Reply:
The best option for you would be a set of tire cables like the part # TC3029 which fit your tire size of 285/60-20 as they are priced really well, will get you through tire chain check points, and in the event of you actually needing them would get you around decently.
