When heavy gear like a snowplow adds weight to the front of your vehicle, steering and braking can feel light and unstable. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 6,000 lbs of load support to keep the front end level and steady. The hollow rubber springs work with your factory suspension to reduce sag, help maintain proper headlight aim, and improve traction and handling when the front axle is carrying extra weight.

Rough roads and heavy loads can make every bump hit harder. The progressive design of Timbren’s hollow rubber springs cushions light loads while becoming stiffer as weight increases. That means a smoother ride when unloaded and solid support when the front axle is working hard. The rubber construction also absorbs most of the road shock to protect your factory suspension from bottoming out on uneven terrain.

When corners or uneven ground push your vehicle off balance, each Timbren spring works independently to steady its side. This independent action helps reduce body roll and sway, keeping the vehicle planted through turns and when carrying off-center loads. You’ll feel more control whether you’re maneuvering through traffic or working on rough ground.

These springs replace the factory axle bump stops using vehicle-specific brackets and hardware, so installation is simple with no drilling required. Once bolted in place, the system automatically engages when needed—no air lines, compressors, or adjustments required. Just solid, consistent suspension support that’s always ready for heavy front-end loads.

Big improvement for my ram2500 carrying a 8.5’ Fisher extreme V plow. The ride with out the plow is a little firmer but not bad.
Easy to install. Only took a few minutes.
This a awesome product . Works just like it should no issues . E trailer is the place to get best price and great people to work with to get right parts
Great product, great price, fast service. I can't say enough about etrailer. In time like these with everything delayed etrailer sent me the parts that I needed and beat the estimated delivery dates.
Simple install. It takes longer to put the jack away then install the springs. It would take longer to make toast. The ride after is better than factory new. Great produt and as always great cust. service from etrailer.
I put these on my 2010 dodge 3500. I use the truck to snow plow and was dragging the plow frame entering and exiting certain areas where the elevation changed abruptly. The truck would sink about 4" in the front with my 1400lb plow. Now it sinks 1" and doesnt drag. These are VERY EASY to install as well. NO drilling or even bolting! just jack the truck, line it up, set it down
Fairly easy install. Drivers side does hit pumpkin and sit a little crooked on a 2001 Dodge Ram with a diesel
Installed on a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Megacab Cummins. Worked great, only had to jack up truck frame a few inches and had installed in about 30 minutes. One key - use the soapy water method to make installation smoother. Also, I had to reset one after a test drive as it had kicked forward somewhat. Once reinstalled (more carefully), it seated perfectly. Definitely made positive difference in the ride, loaded and unloaded.
I double pull a 27,000 pound 5th wheel, pulling two Harleys and have a 90 gallon auxiliary tank in my Dodge 1 Ton. The Timbrens on the front really helped with the load
They work as designed. They help with load control and handling and if installed correctly preserve the stock ride unloaded. E-Trailer has a competitive price and the shipping was prompt. I only carry a popup so the 6K# worked for me.
Bought these because I just put a plow on my truck and I didn't want to mess with air bags or heavy duty springs that would raise the front of my truck. These suspension enhansment bumpers are extremely easy to install, fit perfectly and do exactly as they advertise.. couldn't be happier
Easy install. When I put on plow and lifted it, there was no sag on the front end and truck drives so much stronger. Very impressed how simple with such great results. Installed on a '96 Dodge Ram 2500 single cab with snow plow.
I have a 24 ft scotty motorhome built on a dodge diesel 3500. I have want to improve the sway for ever. I read about the timbren and ordered them. First I have to scythe service from e-trailer is fantastic. From the first day ordering until received the communication was great and I truly appreciate it and highly recommend e-trailer. Second I just put the timbren ses front suspension on and took a ride and the ride improved dramatically, bumps that were harsh before hardly were felt now the sway also decreased a great deal. I have the air ones on back and constantly have to put air in I'm pretty sure I,m going to put the heavy duty timbren on back. I normally don't write reviews but was so impressed with e-trailer and timbren, I had too
Thankyou
I purchased/installed these on my 2019 3500 Ram Cummins diesel. I bought these to improve/help my front stock suspension and ride quality. I installed these in about a half hour with the use of a jack and short flat head screw driver. There isn't much room to get at the original bump stops to pop them out, but it is manageable. I used soapy water to help get them started, but could not get them started by hand to stay in place. I had to slowly let the jack down as I held them in place. I put a 1 x 4 underneath as I let the jack down to get them seated all the way in and then jacked the truck back up to remove the wood block. They are in full contact with the front axel all the time. The ride quality is fairly firm to begin with but these do make it better and it helps with the added weight of the steel front bumper replacement grill guard that I have added to the truck. This is my second set of timbrens (2 different diesels) and I would highly recommend them. I am going to purchase a front and rear set for my Nissan frontier in the future. These should be installed from the factory on all trucks!! Etrailer was good to work with. Fast shipping and good customer service. It stinks that a person has to improve stock suspension but I would give these a try, I doubt you will be disappointed.
Bolt on quick fix to sagging springs truck rides a little rougher when empty but i used the spacers they are almost always touching when loaded they are amazing i pull campers for a living. I have around 180,000 miles since install so there working great for me no air lines to pinch or rub a hole in always hold the load up where i want it
These really helped stabilize my truck with the camper in the back. They made my plow truck ride a bit stiff in the front.

Still work great. No issues, I have driven a few thousand miles love the stability on corners.
Installed the Timbren suspension enhancement system on the front and back of my 03 Dodge 2500 diesel with stock suspension. Has been installed for one year of mixed use: towing up to 8000 lbs on rough roads (Alaska), plowing, and general use.
I often carry a 150 gallon fuel tank or a 1200 lb camper in the bed.
Overall, installation was a breeze. For the front, I simply pried out the old pieces and put the Timbren in their place. Needed to jack the front end up to create enough space and to properly seat the new pieces. The rear installation required a slight bit of wrenching but not very difficult.
I really noticed a benefit to having the Timbren on the front. The diesel motor is heavy and the factory springs need all the help they can get. Way better ride in after the upgrade under all loads/road conditions. I would recommend adding the Timbren to the front of any diesel truck, or anybody who will be plowing with their truck.
The rear suspension was improved while towing, the Timbren definitely soften the blow when you hit rough roads or frost heaves. Unfortunately, when unloaded, the timbren on the rear make the truck ride rougher and bumps even more violent. It seems like the unloaded bed really wants to spring back after hitting bumps. If you are always loaded heavy the Timbren is a good choice. If you run empty occasionally I would go for airbags or something that can be adapted to the load on the truck.
I gave a 5 star review for the front suspension upgrade, if the review was for the rear only it would be 3 stars.
I recently installed an aftermarket transmission cooler and had to reroute some lines next to my front driveline. I noticed sometimes my u joint would hit these lines during heavy bumps or twists on my front end. Installing these stops fixed the problem quickly and lessened the overall bouncing, vibration and roll while towing. Putting dish soap on top before using the weight of the truck to press them in was the best way to get them to seat. Great product!

No complaints here! Just finished a 5K trip and there was a big difference with the front end sway. Steering was firm and this is vital for me towing a 40ft 8 ton fifth wheel with a short bed 2500 Ram.
I’m satisfied with the product
I purchased a mid sized hard sided truck camper to go on the back of my 2018 Ram 2500 and was shocked by how much sway I experienced. I could not go over 45 mph without dangerous amounts of sway. I purchased set of Timbrens for the front and back and the results were a dramatic improvement. I now experience very little sway up to 75 mph.

Excellent
Love the new addition. Had these on my 2017 Ram 1500. Again, I bought because of the sheer smooth ride with heavier loads. I put the 2nd set on my 2021 Ram 2500. Although the ride is a lil stiffer, I would hesitate to buy another set.
Not even close to being long enough to ever hit the front axel. I Put them on the rear and really like them but still had to buy the spacer kit. They work great but having to spend more on the spacer kit makes it expensive!!
I have a very heavy "Cattle Guard" on the front of my RAM 3500 and this combined with the heavy 4WD and diesel engine the extra support from the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System definitely keeps the front suspension from bottoming out.

Working GREAT!!!!
I like using Etrailer because i can call and talk to a person. These front ones went in pretty easy just like directions said. and they got rid of the bad bumping sound in my front end after hitting a bump. smoothed things right out.
The timbrens actually did what they were suppose to do. However, once I starter driving out west I notice the timbrens were riding on the axle which cause the speedometer to jump around depending on the road. I would recommend them if you are hauling or towing a camper or RV. I was going to contact etrailer about maybe removing a spacer for one set however the other set came as one unit. The bottom line is the Timbrens does stabilize your load for safe travels. I will be contacting etrailer soon to assist in correcting the problem...Road trip from Idaho,Colorado,Wyoming, and Utah were beautiful... Thank you etrailer

I have upgraded towards trailing with my truck camper Artic Fox 990. I have not had the time to reach to etrailer for a solution with my 1998 Dodge 2500 timbrens installation. I have a new addition and will install the timbrens on a F-550 to have the same travel assurance...Pre trip test run to Key West early this winter... Anchorage 2024 Spring...Thank you etrailer

Thanks so much for your review, Joe. The mount should be sitting alongside the pumpkin. Depending upon the angle the axle is compressed, there are certain circumstances in which the mount and the pumpkin could make contact. However, if the suspension is compressed down in a straight line, it should hit the axle first and then make may contact the side of the pumpkin.
