Question:
My truck is a 2005 Ram 2500 2wd SLT with a cummins. Will these work on it, or are they for a 4wd? The installation videos snd instructions seem to imply that they are for a 4wd. My factory bumpers are round and sit in a cup mounted to the lower control arm. Thank you

There is a front axle suspension enhancement available for your 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 with 2WD but the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TDF25004B is designed to work on 4WD trucks; I checked with Timbren to confirm this.
Instead of the Timbrens I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-301-47 which will help cushion your Ram's front suspension and also compress if you add weight such as a snowplow. They work independently to reduce your truck's body roll when turning and are a very convenient way to enhance your suspension. The SumoSprings will not require any drilling to install or any maintenance when on your Ram.
