Question:

Im looking to lower the rear of my 2017 Ram 1500 Crew cab 6.4foot bed, 2 inches to be level with the stock front end however i do not want to sacrifice load/towing ability. Will the firestone air bags allow for this or are they only designed for stock ride height? Also, are there any internal bump stops or ability to drive with damaged bags?

We have had this come up in the past and Firestone has confirmed that yes, the:

-Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit # F2595 can lower your truck when compressed to the minimum 5 PSI, however they do not specify how much lower the truck will be.

Additionally, none of Firestones air bags have internal bump stops. The reason being is because Firestone's air bags being more robust, eliminating the need for them.

Finally, to inflate/deflate the springs you're going to need a compressor like # F2097. This compressor has a maximum air pressure rating of 150 PSI, and includes the air line, fittings, wiring harness, and hardware for installation.
