Question:

I got a 2016 Ram 1500 4x4. I’m trying to install a 6 inch lift on my truck soon. Right now I have no actual spring in the back. I have Firestone air bag model #2595 installed on the same spot as a spring would sit from axle to the top. I’m trying to keep this set up for the rear. So was wondering which 6inch spacer model should I buy so it fits my Firestone air bag right now so I wouldn’t have to convert back to a spring set up in the rear when I do my lift? Also which side would I mount this spacer the bottom side of air bag assembly or the top mount?

The Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit # F2595 will only fit at stock height on your 2016 Ram 1500 4x4. They do not offer lift spacers which are compatible with these air springs. If you do find a 6" lift kit which maintains the factory coil springs you can use the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4185. As many lifts will send new coil springs I may be able to help you find a set of Air Helper Springs which will fit into the new coils but I will need to verify the diameter of the spring, height of the spring, thickness of the spring material and the gap in between the coils once it is installed to verify if there is a kit that will fit the new coil springs.
