Hello Donny,

So there is one set of air bags for your 2020 Ram 1500 2WD, but since your truck has coil springs, they are actually replacements for those springs. There isn't a set of air bags that air up and down apart from these, but if you wanted to convert from your coil springs you would do so with the Firestone Coil-to-Air-Spring Conversion Kit # F2595.

These will definitely give you better support than your Ram's current coil springs due to the fact you can adjust them to the air pressure you want, unlike coil springs. Keep in mind these do not fit the TRX or Rebel models of Ram 1500, and it is also a very good idea to get a wireless air compressor so you can always monitor and adjust the psi on the fly. For that use the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000EZ.

The other option for you aren't air bags but air springs, which actually go inside your coil springs, the Air Lift 1000 Heavy Duty Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs # AL60828HD.

These won't fit the TRX model, so you'll want to take note of that, but these are a very good alternative for suspension support if you don't want to replace your coil springs. What they do is reinforce your springs to keep your truck level and help with body roll so you'll have a safer, more controlled drive. I do recommend using a compressor with these as well, just for ease of use to keep the psi where you want.

Hey Donny, how did the air spring setup work out on your Ram 1500 when hauling your camper and gear? Did the added support make the ride feel more stable? Your experience could help others looking for the same upgrade.
