Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Heavy Loads: Up to 5,000 lbs of Load-Leveling Support

When you’re hauling a big trailer or a bed full of gear, rear-end sag can throw off your handling and braking. The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air springs add up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling support to keep your vehicle level and steady under load. By sharing weight across all four wheels, they help improve steering response, braking stability, and headlight aim while preventing uneven tire wear. It’s dependable suspension support that takes the strain off your factory setup so you stay in control when the truck is working hard.

Dial In the Ride You Want: Adjustable Air Pressure from 5 psi to 100 psi

Not every trip calls for the same setup. With these air springs, you can tune air pressure anywhere from 5 psi up to 100 psi to match the load you’re carrying. Keep them at low pressure for a smooth, comfortable ride when unloaded, or air them up when towing or hauling something heavy to maintain proper ride height. Each spring can be inflated separately for side-to-side leveling when loads aren’t evenly distributed. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included, and you can upgrade later with an onboard compressor for push-button adjustment from the cab.

Built Tough for Real-World Hauling: 2-Ply Reinforced Rubber and Zytel Endcaps

The LoadLifter 5000 is built to last through years of demanding use. Each air spring is made from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber for strength and flexibility under pressure. The endcaps are constructed from high-strength Zytel nylon that’s lighter, stronger, and more corrosion-resistant than steel, meaning no rusting or leaking over time. Air Lift’s exclusive roll plates protect the bags from abrasion and boost load capacity, while precision brackets and hardware secure everything in place for reliable performance mile after mile.

Keep Your Suspension Protected and Your Ride Smooth: Full-Time Support with Built-In Safeguards

Heavy loads can wear down factory suspension fast. The LoadLifter 5000 system relieves stress on your OEM components by carrying part of that weight through durable air springs that flex with the road. They absorb bumps, reduce sway, and keep your ride composed even across rough pavement or uneven terrain. With a lifetime warranty and a 60-day satisfaction guarantee behind it, this setup gives you lasting peace of mind every time the truck goes to work.

I combined these with lowering blocks for my 19 F350 and the remote compressor setup (no tank). I LOVE IT. I can reach my bed better. The remote compressor setup makes it so easy. Pulling is improved. One year later I would buy again in a heartbeat.

2019 Nissan Leaf
I just bought a new 2019 Ford F250 to pull my new fifth wheel. The pin weight of the fifth wheel caused the bed of my truck to drop a few inches so I bought the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Helper Springs and the Air Lift One wireless on board compressor to raise the bed back up to level. I installed all of it myself after watching the etrailer installation videos. I think somewhere they mention it being a 2-3 hour job. Well...if you do it every day, then it probably is. It took me the better part of a day to get it done. The first thing i did was remove the spare tire for easier access. I also tried to install the airbags without lifting the truck. Actually, I did install one side without lifting and it wasn't that hard. However, there is a nut on the bottom bracket that is between the airbag and the leaf spring that is impossible to tighten without lifting the truck body. Even after lifting the body, it was still very difficult to access/tighten. Instead of drilling a hole for the schrader valve, I used a couple of oversized washers and installed it in a hole on the hitch frame that was already there. The Air Lift One, I installed on the frame, on the drivers side of the vehicle and just forward of the gas tank. This is really about the only place on the frame without wiring of some sort. I got the EZ mount but didn't use the large U-bolt as I didn't find any place it would work. Instead, i just drilled a couple of starter holes in the frame and used the provided self-tapping screws. I also wired the hot and always-on wires together and directly to an upfitter wire under the hood. I had no trouble getting the wireless remote to communicate with the compressor and it works great. Now, with my fifth wheel attached to the truck, I can add air and level the truck back to factory heights. Overall, the install wasn't that hard and would have been super easy with a truck lift. The people at etrailer were great when made my order and will definitely give them a call again.

Easy install. Have used them in a load yet.
by:
These air bags are great. Easy way to adjust your headlights after a lift or when carrying a load. Took about 3 1/2 hours to install with my 16 y o grandson helping. Every thing is included in the kit and the instructions were easy to understand. I even installed them with the truck camper installed.

2023 Ford F-450 Super Duty
When it arrived the box was open but FedEx did an excellent job and everything was still inside, the boxes should be strapped they're only glued. But the product is excellent, on a 2023 F450 it was perfect fitment. The airbags are well made and provide for a smooth ride, it helped my shaking issue at highway speeds.

I have 2019 f250.. I tried timbrens first, they supported the load but wife said rode to rough.. ordered the airbags on friday.. they arrived on tuesday.. watching a YouTube video on install helped better understand the directions.. took about 3 hours for complete install including controls and compressor.. haven't hooked up to camper yet to compare but doesn't affect factory ride with the 5 pounds of air they recommend at minimum..

Airbags are great. The air pump took to long to get over 1 year not cool. Pump works great. The whole system is great and works awesome.

I love the air lift air bags. When I hooked up to my trailer before it squatted my truck bad. With the bags there is no squat. Thanks air lift

Product works as it was supposed to, chose my own fasteners as the self tappers broke heads off, so I drilled and tapped into the frame and used stainless fasteners, compression was good and I like the mobile app on my iPhone
by:
I just bought this system because the first one I bought had an air bag failure and I wanted to have spare parts to keep the first system up and running.
by:
Asked to make sure these would fit my truck and it was supposedly verified.. they did not . Wasted money on next day delivery on this assumption. It won’t happen again
by:
Very competitive prices, free shipping, and easy to work with. What more could you ask for.
by:

2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty
I have not looked at the parts to see if everything is okay, but the box is perfect. Pristine. Their price was also amazing. I feel I got a deal. The airbags for my other truck are tbe same bags. Jr they costed me more through airlift recommended dealer. If I can give an updated review next week after I install the airbags I will do so. I ordered airlift airbags for my 2022 f450. They said they were in stock , and I received them at my door 3 days later as the website said it would 3 days later. My only issue is the website itself. It’s kinda hard to navigate and it reminds me of old school shopping online in 2001 era where everything is so simple- looking but not simple to use. I’ve also looked for other parts I typed in search bar that did not come up but when I did the work and searched for it manually I found what I was looking for. I would give it a 5 star and didn’t only becuase of the website see ing out dated and just overall weird to use and sometimes hard to understand what exactly I’m reading what description for what product. I guess what I’m saying is it could be hard to tell when one product stops and another behinds. You might read a description and click on the wrong part. I could see my 73 year old father doing this. Love the speed and the product! And I will use again as long as they have what I need.

  • What Air Bags Work with the B&W Turnoverball Part # BWGNRK1116 on a 2018 Ford F-250
The airbags that I recommend for your 2018 Ford F-250 are the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57399. These airbags will not interfere with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1116 as you can see in the attached photo. The Air Lift airbags will do an excellent job of improving both safety and ride quality. They are adjustable which means you can inflate each spring independently for side-to-side leveling of off-center loads. The kit comes...

  • Best Suspension Enhancement to Reduce Squat on 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty When Towing 5th Wheel
So the issue you are having with squat on your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty will actually not be resolved with either of the SuperSprings suspension kits you mentioned. Those will help to a point, but they aren't going to resolve squat because they are going to flex with weight on them so your truck is still going to squat. To prevent squat the best suspension enhancement option for your 2019 F-250 is going to be air bags. The reason is because they allow you to fill the air bags to whatever...

  • Comparing Firestone and Air Lift Air Bags on 2024 Ford F-450 Platinum
Hi Chris, welcome back! Firestone makes the better air bags but the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57399 brackets are better than the Firestone so I don't expect the same issue you had before. With Air Lift I actually recommend getting the model with the internal jounce bumper # AL88399 for that extra protection and support if you don't have enough air pressure. Since you have a 4" lift you will need the Air Lift Universal Air Spring Spacers for LoadLifter 5000 and 7500XL - 4" Lift # AL52440...

  • 7,500 lb Capacity Air Bag Kit that Fits 2025 Ford F-450
Hey Robert, there was a big enough change between the 2022 and 2023 models of the F-450 that Air Lift had to release a new fit for the trucks. So for your 2025 F-450 you would need the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 part # AL57399. It's pretty common with newer trucks that fits change often as vehicles are updated pretty often now. Do you have a compressor? With that said only Firestone has a 7,500 lb bag kit available for your truck and for that you'd need the part # F95FV.

The only airbag kit we have that will fit your 2019 Ford F-250 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57399 for standard or part # AL88399 for ultimate. The ultimate version has an internal jounce spring which lets you temporarily carry a load with zero air pressure in your springs. • Why Does My Rear Suspension Bang on My F250 When Hitting Dips With Truck Camper Loaded?
Hello Vern, Thanks for the picture, that is quite the nice set-up you have. It sounds like the bang you’re hearing happens when your loaded truck hits a sharp dip and the rear axle jumps up faster than the truck body can react. Since you have Timbrens installed, what is most likely happening is the axle is hitting those rubber stops hard. Timbrens are great for supporting weight, but when the suspension compresses quickly, they can engage all at once and create that loud clunk you’re...

  • What is the Difference Between # AL88399 and # AL57399 for 2017 For F-250 Super Duty
Hello Cory. The difference between the two is that the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL88399 has an internal jounce bumper (bump stop), and the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57399 does not. Both products have a 5,000 pound load leveling capacity, and are both a confirmed fit for you 2017 Ford Super Duty. If I were you, I would go with the # AL57399. Hey Brent, Good question and for your 2019 Ford F-350 4x4, I would go with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL57577. Compared to the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57399, the the 7500 XL are going to give you the best load-leveling both now and, like you mentioned, into the future. The ride won't be rougher than the 5,000 lb bags if you keep them at a low psi, as the internal jounce bumpers on the 7500 XL won't be engaging. The 7500 XL # AL57577 are also larger...

I highly recommend getting air bags for your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty for towing RVs that are as heavy as 10,000 lbs. The issue is that due to the amount of weight that the RVs put on the rear of your truck, what will happen is that your truck's back end will sag a bit, lifting up the front end. What this does is make your truck more difficult to handle when turning or braking, while also wearing down your tires. So there is no downside and much upside to installing air bags, which will...

The installation instructions say to drill a 5/16" hole for the air fittings to secure to. Firestone does not have a kit that will work with a B&W gooseneck trailer hitch in a 2018 Ford F-250. The upper brackets mount to the outside of the frame rails and would interfere with the gooseneck frame brackets.
